What would you like to see in the next title update?

Have we waited this long for a patch before with no word from the devs? No. Therefore I don't think I'm out of line in any way by using that word. But hey, I'm also building a bomb shelter for 12/21/12. So maybe I'm just crazy.

Please list the dates we've been contacted on patches in the past 5 years. In the past years, the dev. team has never had to try and fix a playoff format issue... have they? (And no, that is not confirmation for anyone that wants to misconstrue the point)

And if that bomb shelter works - feel free to laugh at my dead self.

The new playoff format has been confirmed for the first patch. Let me go make a thread about this to let everyone know.... Jk. Sorry. I had to, Pared.

It's not out of the realm of possibility for someone to do that, hence the disclaimer.

It's just common sense here. You know they want to be able to deliver the new format AND fix all the other minor things in one patch if they can. It's the smarter thing to do financially. And if they can't, they can't. Why come out and say we are "trying" to do something and possibly fail? Do you realize 2k promised content on NBA 2k12 and failed to deliver? It wasn't pretty - people claiming false advertising and other nonsense.

Remember, they ALREADY released a patch. They won't get accolades on fixing some other game breaking issue... b/c you never experienced it.

I'm still a bit confused after all the April Fools stuff yesterday. Is there a scheduled patch to fix the start times or not?

I think you answered your own question there. Plus the mods locked the other thread and apologized for misinformation.

To throw my hat in the ring here, I did agree with Pareds post about Trade AI. they don't really need to fix, but maybe tone it down a bit. It still feels like a free for all.

And of course the scheduling error is a must. Like I've said before, the game seems a little buggier this year than in the past. So hopefully they take their time coming up with fixes to as many issues as possible.

Actually, it would be pretty cool to have a trade frequency slider when starting a franchise much like you can have an injury slider. THAT would be awesome.

As far as buggier....it's definitely less than last year and DEFINITELY less bugs that effect gameplay and especially franchise.

Here's what I have noticed about this forum when it comes to patches over the years I've been here either being signed up or lurking: There tends to be people who think their world will end because of something broken, people that think they are important because of varying degrees of contact with the developers or Ramone Russell - spouting off at the mouth about a patch - and people like me that will mention something that is broken or not working correctly and will just quietly sit by and wait for the patch. If it doesn't come out, then it doesn't.

People tend to take things way too seriously here. I only play RttS and there are definitely issues there. However, I would never proclaim that the issues make the game "unplayable". At the same time, if someone feels like they cannot play a mode, such as Franchise because of the day/night time scheduling thing, they should be able to express their frustrations over that and not be ridiculed for doing so by people that think they are more important that they actually are. Everyone paid (well, almost everyone) their 60 dollars so they definitely should have an opinion. That's not to say they should act like a douche because of something they don't like. They is always a good way of making a statement or comment about the game, be it good or bad. People just need to use tact.

I'm just going to hope they get this scheduling taken care of so I can play my Opening DAY Rangers hosting the White Sox on Opening DAY.

Especially since it looks like Full Minors will roll out by then. Until this happens, I will continue to mash at a Mickey Tettleton-esque pace in my RTTS mode, leading the NL in HR and RBI while batting a wonderful .242.
