No fix yet for the bug where a wild pitch in RTTS results in no one fielding the ball, forcing the user to force quit their game? That's a shame since I'm getting eager to start a RTTS. Maybe I'll just deal with it for now and hope that it doesn't ruin any good games of mine. *crosses fingers that it will be fixed in a future patch*

So does this mean that my team in RTTS will now wear the correct jerseys on the correct days, as they do in real life, even though i already started my RTTS a while ago?

As happy and as grateful as I am for all the major fixes the new patch will have I'm a little disappointed the missing letters in "Home of the Atlanta Braves" during night games at Turner Field wasn't on the list of fixes. Maybe it's just too complicated to fix without messing up the rest of the game.

Not sure how you can patch a game adequately BEFORE you get the whole community feedback. There were a lot of bugs and like I said, I still don't see the catcher freeze listed.

Most games release to the public, get feedback and patch things 2-3 weeks after.

On Friday morning (4-13) title update 1.06 will be released for MLB 12 The Show, which resolves a handful of issues. In addition to correcting some issues, which may or may not be noticeable, we've also taken the opportunity to include some enhancements to the in-game experience. Following are some of the top-line elements of this patch.

I was referring to the person who said there was a patch ON release day. Well that doesn't really count since the game hadn't received widespread community feedback yet. Technically there was probably 5 patches to this game before this one (being the 6th version).

For me, all that matters is what is fixed AFTER the game is released.

Sounds of the Show In-between inning music/end of inning assigned music does not play on occasion. This has been fixed.

That's one that I really wanted fixed. Nice to see some other changes made like adjustments to the fielders throwing and stuff.

Gonna for sure play a game today then and then play tomorrow as well and see how diff the game seems with the update

Not agreeing with the language used, but 6 pages of people praising the patch when it might not even include the biggest online bug there is (besides wind), which is the frozen catcher bug!

If that isn't fixed, it will be a LONG 10 months for the online players.

Ahhh ok... gotcha. Yeah release day patches are for internal catches after game has gone gold.

I always have to laugh at post-patch threads. Everyone acts like the world has been saved from the apocalypse...when in reality, most of the changes made are hardly noticeable to your average player. Game breaking glitches and freezes are fixed, YES...but, just wait for a few days until everyone starts complaining that they can't hit/field/throw post-patch...when in reality there is no difference.

Game breaking glitches and freezes are fixed, YES...but, just wait for a few days until everyone starts complaining that they can't hit/field/throw post-patch...when in reality there is no difference.

Let's not forget previous MLB 10/11 patches have created brand new bugs (ie the pause glitch in MLB 10 that was never fixed).

Wait and see before giving feedback would be my advice.
