I just saw this thread. I am 45 games into my franchise with the Reds and I started it before the patch. I have not had any freezes to this point. I have played prob 10 games since the patch. I am not using custom rosters.

How come I'm having constant freezing problems, even though I started my franchise AFTER the patch. Twice now today alone after I finished my franchise game I went to go back to franchise home and it FREEZES. This is so infuriating.

He does have a point...I can't think of any other patch that has broke a game like this one has. Will they fix it? Probably...but don't call him a troll because he has very valid point.

He doesn't have a valid point, nor is this the thread for it. It's crap like that, that clutters up these threads that make them so hard to navigate for people either trying to gather information or trying to contribute to a solution for others. If you don't get that, I don't know what to tell you.

His intent as far as trolling are quite clear, and has been for a while.

No it's not... remember what NCAA did to their game a few years ago? I think Madden also broke something major with a patch IIRC.

Also, the point may be valid... but a post like "worst patch ever" is just post padding and trolling because it adds nothing to the conversation

Sorry. Youre correct it added nothing. Just VERY frustrating how this patch has literally broken aspects of the game.

I was trying to find out which teams in my pre-existing season file (all 30 teams) are "infected" and which not. I can confirm the ones that have been mentioned recently. But all of a sudden - I don't know if anyone else experienced that - the game also occasionally freezes when pressing "L1" or "R1" in order to switch days back and forth in the calendar. My save file is definitely NOT corrupted or anything like that. What makes it even worse is the fact that the save file stays infected even after deleting the patch from my HDD. At least I can fall back on backup files that aren't infected.

To make a long story short: I'm running out of steam figuring out if there are actually more "infected" teams than just the ones that got mentioned, simply because I'm fed up with rebooting and restoring my PS3 files over and over again - just to do the same again after a couple of seconds or minutes.

I really hope that you guys at SCEA find a solution because that very patch kind of ruined this awesome game for plenty of gamers. I know you're working hard to find out what's causing these problems. Among other things, the fixing of the pitch delay option has been a good one. That's why I hope we all will be able to get a patch that include these fixes without corrupting the game anymore.

Im halfway through may and i REALLY dont want to restart franchise. i love my team and there are sooooo many stats that cant be replicated.
if anyone out threre is with SECA (spelling?) i hope you can fix this because im losing my patience and trust in this patch and game.

I never had freezing issues on any Show game until this year. This has to be the worst. First off I bought the game on the Vita, and startd my RTTS and Franchise there. After I got the game on PS3 a coupl of weeks ago, I transferred my saves over, and within 2 days my Franchise was completely gone. Every time I would try to continue my Franchse it showed the load file for my RTTS. Of course it wouldn't load since its a different type of save. Well I decided to just go ahead and start another Franchise since OSFM was out, and so far I'm in May 30th with the Rangers. I first went in to Manage Roster, and changed some shoe colors, and as soon as I started the May 30th game it froze. I restarted, changed the colors and saved. Played my May 30th game with no problems. Decided to sim the away games, and after swimming the 3rd game, it froze again. I'm at my wits end. I have no problems on RTTS at all. Prior to these recent freezing problems, I only had freezes in music editor after trying to edit some sound packs I have on my HD from a couple of years ago.

My franchise was freezing. I started a new one no problems. Now a week later I can't play exhibition games without the game freezing in first few innings. Franchise freezes. Uninstalled games and reinstalled it. Uninstalled patch. Help!!!!

I freeze during the first inning of my franchise game since the patch. It happens when it goes to a fielding play. I am sure they are going through pages of code to figure out what to patch. When they find it they will fix it and a patch will be out. They can't leave the game like this. I am not mad because I know what a pain it is to code. I understand these things happen.

Until a new patch is out to fix this I have switched to MLB2k12. It is not nearly as good a game but it is not horrible either.
