I am not that far in my franchise, so it hasn't happened to me, but if I am understanding baseballcardude is saying if you download a roster it looks like that is the reason it is freezing. The roster update has the most current players, so if you use a default roster you should be okay.

My question is I saved the newest roster that was updated by the game and when I just started a new Rays/Braves franchise, will this freeze?

Playing a season with Yanks, and am a couple games behind the actual season. After hearing about the problems with this latest patch, I decided not to download it. It was annoying to be prompted every few minutes to DL patch during a game, but after 5 or 6 games the constant prompts stopped. Anyone else run into this?

Is there any work around for this? My franchise just froze on July 24th after WHOOPING the Brew Crew 10-2 with the Phils. As soon as I tried to sim to the next day it will freeze. I also noticed that the Braves were 98 games back of first place in the NL East and there was another team in the AL that was 99 games back so that is obviously a glitch...

I'm sitting at 59-39 too , what are other folks doing? I have an old save from July 10th but REALLY don't want to go back...Do we wait for another patch? delete current patch (how?) or what?

Delete the patch and create a duplicate save file. Then sim a full month or until the start of the playoffs and re-download the patch.

Has there been any update on this freezing? I haven't been able to play my RTTS in about a week. I have a lot of time invested in it. (Good thing I didn't buy any extra help). I don't have the time to read through about 3 threads of 50+pages.

If your RTTS save file freezes delete the patch sim to the start of the playoffs then re-download it.

Yeah, but my save file is right after I signed a new contract. It goes from the last day of regular season to the new season and you have a training on the first day of spring training and it freezes on the menu to train or skip.

thats the problem! i cant go past June 6th, patch or no patch. I have made many different files, they all freeze june 6th

I believe June 6th is the day of the first year amature draft.

I'm not sure what that means but I doubt it's a coincidence. Are you getting a prompt about the draft or is it freezing before hand?

No prompt about draft. I just try to go to june 7th and it freezes.

What do you mean do not load if you already started a new mode after downloading the patch?

I've recently gotten freezing issues in my franchise (2013-Cubs) when i attempt to adjust my AAA lineup. It has happened twice on that particular menu, when trying to view a player card from the lineup screen. I just got this game maybe 4 days ago. Downloaded the 10 GB file save and the patch before playing a single game, so I'm not even sure that my issue is related to the aforementioned problem. Is it possible for this issue to be due to the patch, even though the file was created after the patch was downloaded?

Once I downloaded the patch I had trouble with all of my RTTS files freezing after playing a game. I can finish a game and when it gets to the screen that shows your stats and saves with the baseball down in the right corner it simply freezes.

I've tried deleting all of my files, including even all of my saved files that I had in an attempt to get the mode working again, thinking that if I wiped it clean and started a new RTTS with the patch already installed it would work. It is still freezing and I have no idea what I'm going to be able to do to get RTTS working again.

The only issue i have is with freezing sometimes we get in a game and everything stops but you can like still bunt and hear the umpire , fans. commentators

I have the EXACT same problem as you. Another thing I have noticed is that after the first inning or so the in game commentary will stop. The only in game sounds that work the rest of the game are the crowd. It never fails and I know if the in game commentary stops working then it will freeze at the player performance screen. Do you have the same issue?
