Loaded up my season (I'm on April 10) and simmed ahead a month on the Braves schedule with no problem. Went to the Rangers schedule and simmed another month with no problem.

I'm using the default roster that shipped with the game. No custom sounds. Signed off of PSN (but internet is enabled) and, FWIW, all my menu tickers are disabled.

Edit: Should add that I've got single-team control as well.

Mine froze as well. 30 team roster control, OSFM rosters in mid-late April. I am playing as the Indians. Saw a couple KC franchises froze, could this be an AL team problem?

My freeze point is right after I load up the franchise during the transition point.

I don't know if we can say it's specifically an AL problem. However, like I said a page back, I have two 30 team control franchises using the OSFM Opening Day roster. For whatever reason the one that I've played some games as the Rangers freezes at the same point yours is freezing, after load-up. The franchise that I've played some games as the Braves loads up just fine, though.

I Downloaded the patch, played my scheduled franchise game without a hitch, save franchise after completion, did notice during the game the league stats were changed with a insertion of a decimal point, but I had this same thing with a patch on Madden. I am keeping tabs on this thread for the latest info. My question is what issues was the patch fixing. 2. So far I'm noticing that the person that are having problems are using OSFM or other rosters. I am using the rosters updated the day of the released, thats when I started my franchised.

I already had a franchise going on, I am currently in mid May. When I go to check the schedule it freezes up on me when I get 5 days ahead of my current game on the schedule. From what I can tell you can keep playing, it is just going to freeze from time to time. But with my experience it doesn't seem like I will have to restart my franchise. It's more a minor annoyance than anything.

Here's what I have found and what I think is the real issue causing freezes in franchise and season:

I have a Red Sox franchise and the last game I played before the patch was July 30. The game was completed.

I downloaded the patch and fired up my season and the date was still July 30, but the result of the game already was reflected in the win-loss and stats. When I tried to play the game on the 30th again, the pitching matchup was wrong and all my players were tired. I played it anyway and saved to a new file. When I tried to play the July 31st game, it froze and continued to freeze.

The patch somehow messed up the calendar, probably because part of the patch fix was start times. I only tried the Red Sox, but it appears certain teams have this issue and certain teams do not.

As far as freezes in exhibition games, etc., I have no idea why this is happening. I haven't had it happen to me. I started a new season post-patch and have had no problems.

Does anyone know if deleting patch 1.06 deletes the other updates that were downloaded on release and a few days after, or just that patch?

It is sad that a patch can wreak this much havoc just for a few simple tweaks and fixes. Hopefully, there will be a patch to the patch soon, otherwise our choices are start all over or delete the patch (and perhaps everything else that came before it) and plug away with our season/franchises.

Based on everything in this thread (I just read all of it), and the patch list in the other thread, I have a couple of ideas for some common links. Any user, freeze or no freeze, please post whether or not you...

1. Have any league-leading players? Someone pointed out that home runs were being reported in decimal form and stuff like that. It could be some faulty math that's causing a crash. It would explain the disparity - sorry Cubs fans, but I think you see where I'm going here.

2. Do you have CPU Roster Control turned on?

3. Are there any injuries or missing players (24 on the 25 man, etc...) on the team who's schedule causes you to freeze?

I really think there's something to the fact that all the freezes were progressed into their own season (not still in spring training or near opening day). My main 2 theories are that it's either a mathematical issue or a corrupted roster from missing slots or something else. Anyone with freezes from the default SCEA rosters?

I'm about to try my own franchise for the first time since downloading the patch. I don't know if it will freeze or not, but I'm off this whole weekend, and will be glad to help out in anyway possible.

I might just take a chance with my OSFM spring roster with the Astros single team control franchise. I've only played the season opener with the Astros and simmed to April 7th. I'm be back later with the info.

Ok. I just downloaded the patch. Loaded up my Astros franchise. It was a single team control franchise using the OSMF spring rosters with a few created players inserted. So far I've gone throw all schedule screen and cycled through all 30 teams schedules. No problems. Check stats, league leaders, free agents and so far no problems. Now it's time to play a game. Oh by the way I'm on April 7th in my franchise.

I have custom sounds and am connected and pretty sure I'm signed into the PSN. I'm playing a game right now. Just got done with the top of the 1st inning and no problems. Also I'm playing with music mode on.

Well I just got done playing that game against the Rockies. Simmed to the next day. Saved my franchise. No problems at all.

30 Team control on(2 profiles--1 for my team, 1 for other 29)

OSFM ST roster. Had played through Apr 26 befor d/l patch. D/l patch and played Fri Apr 27 game with no issue. Simmed other games using today's games(press x, play, sim, sportscast, manage option screen). On Sat Apr 28th using same method the Oak vs Bal and Sea vs Oak games have no line score entry for the visiting teams(oak and sea). When trying to advance to play my team's game, it freezes. Start times match up on all 4 of the above teams schedule. Hope that helps the devs somehow.

I can scroll through all franchise menu options without an issue. It's only once those 2 incomplete games sim, does it occur

EDIT: I tried playing those 2 games(started it then ff to end) that works without a freeze but when games are completed, it still shows blank linescores for Oak and Sea in Today's games section

Game Freezes as soon as the save finishes loading. I play nothing but RTTS. There is no Frachise on my PS3. Everytime I boot the PS3 back up after a freeze, it keeps checking the file system. I am neurotic and have 5 different saves backed up for my RTTS guy. All 5 freezes.

I have yet to have any freezing issues in my pre-patch 30 team franchise. I am using Huslin's 25 man OSFM opening day rosters and am early on in April. I did notice that 2 of the games that I simulated before the patch, the results disappeared and they now appear as if they were never played. The Mariners and Rangers now have 2 games played instead of 3 as they should have. Not sure why that is. No custom sounds here.

Bobhead, I forgot to ask people for this earlier. Existing incomplete rosters have caused issues in the past (if I remember correctly) and should definitely be looked at for testing the patch freeze.

No custom sounds or anything.

No 30 team control

What happened: I went to view my schedule. No problems. I went over to future months, and other teams, no problems. I viewed the Blue Jays, White Sox schedules with no problems, but when I clicked the right button one more time to get to the Indians schedule, it froze instantly.

I'm starting to wonder if the freeze is tied to very specific teams?

Here's something for you guys to chew on.......

Fired up my PS3 and downloaded the patch. Loaded a cloud save from my Vita.... no problems. Played one game and simmed one. Again, no problems. Played another game. No problems. But........my in game ticker doesn't work. Played an April 28th game (Saturday) and the ticker said "No other games scheduled for today" or something like that. started showing it in the 2nd or 3rd inning. On my Vita the ticker has always worked. Always. First time I ever noticed this on my PS3 but rarely play the Show on the PS3 as I always have liked it better on the Vita. No freezes though. None. Thoughts?

EDIT: The cloud save was a franchise file with Hustlin Owl's 25 man roster that I made some slight adjustments to. I have 30 team control but always play my games with StL. Go Cards

This freezing seems to be with existing franchises only, that correct Bobhead?

From what i can work out from other people, anyone starting a new chise since the patch seems to be fine?
