Lol...Milk Carton can either rot or go to a team I play a lot, so I can beat him up.

But I think I'll leave it as is in this test franchise and see what I can do about Castro in my restart. If he produces in spring, I'll leave him in the bigs...if not, I'll use another catcher as my backup and play Snyder.

Milk Carton irks me that much that i dont want to give him the satisfaction of being employed by any team in any capacity....and i'd go the way u wudd with Castro...just dont have him be your back-up

Don't know if you're trying to stay within the farm but clevenger has a nice swing and is a great backup to Soto in my chise makes great contact

That is a possibility...but I think I'm gonna stay internally, mainly because there's no reason for me to go acquire a catcher when my team is going to be bad for a couple years.

On another note, I was thinking of starting a thing in the dynasty forums for when Scott's rosters drop. That way I can actually make it 2-3 years in and because I do like doing the recaps and stuff.

My first post after lurking for 223 pages: Congrats to those who are restarting, it seems as if the Astros are in the process of ripping off the Dodgers.

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?

if that rumor comes to fruition, i'll truly be elated to be franchising with the Astros to obtain a young piece to our pitching puzzle in return for a older veteran who wasnt gunna last more then 1 year with the Astros anyway

lmaoo...i was gunna stick with them no matter what...but i really reap the benefits come trading deadline time as Myers will most likely be moved for at least a B, already Lee rumors have surfaced, hopefully some team will bite on Lyon, and Wandy being dealt to a contender for a couple of B's would be magical..and any other veterans who teams might be interested in, i'd be perfectly ok as well lol

Personally, I couldn't wait that long lol...once I get Correa/McCullers I'm set lol. I was on the fence already so waiting even longer is NOT an option.

But a little update from the Astros in my franchise. We've hit a bit of a snag after taking 2 of 4 from the Nats. We took 2 of 3 from the Dodgers behind strong Wandy and Norris performances but then got swept by Milwaukee. Currently we're sitting at 7-12 and 6.0 games behind Cincinnati in the division. I messed with my sliders as pitching was a little too easy with my starters, and I've definitely noticed I need to hit my spots or risk being lit up like a Christmas tree.

Notables: Chris Snyder leads the team in average, HR, and RBI with a line of .325/3/6. Carlos Lee and JD have scuffled early, but recently are picking it up a little bit (hell JD threw a scoreless inning of relief in a blowout loss to MIL, he punched out Braun and Weeks too )

Wandy is doing well, sporting a 1-1 record with a 2.79 ERA and 25Ks. Cruz is pitching nicely out of the closer spot, with a 3.00 ERA, 9K in 9 innings and 5 saves in 5 chances.

If he would have blown out an elbow, I probably would have taken it out on Milk Carton. But JD pinch hit for the pitcher in the 8th inning and it was a 14-5 game...so I decided to save my bullpen and let him throw. He threw a perfect inning, they couldn't touch his 78 mph heat! And 89 mph changeup? Lol what's the deal with that?

But yeah...help! Schafer's cooled, Bogey is nonexistent, and everyone other than Snyder is hitting .240 or below
