On this best prospect ever: I think he looks pretty solid and Houston could actually sign him and shift Correa over to 3rd (which actually seems to be the overwhelming opinion of where he'll end up sticking according to the scouting reports and such I've read.) But as mentioned, he's high risk.

Where's that scout with the Braves that used to post here, that laughed at my absolutely amazing (read: terrifyingly horrible) top prospect comps? Haven't seen him a while.
But yeah, this kid could be decent. Anyone know what they're doing with Pena yet?"Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: Da Astros
If his power is currently a 6, Brett Cecil's fastball is an 80000000. I don't see where you're getting this.
Re: Prince Fielder + Jose Reyes = Andruw Jones... you realize that those two are two of the worst fielders at their respective positions, right?
I vehemently disagree with your ceiling and I suspect you know the kid or something, but I could see a Brendan Ryan floor.
He has the potential for the power of Fielder and the contact and speed of Reyes while also possessing Jones' defense prowess.
Therefore
Prince Fielder+ Jose Reyes+ Andruw Jones= Domingo Ayala.
I've known about this kid for quite a while and I'm telling you, they were raving about him a couple years back. I don't see Brenden Ryan. I see like a Derek Jeter maybe except a little more showoffy and no bat as his floor.
I've heard that sound 3 times... once was Babe Ruth, the second was Josh Gibson, and the third was Bo Jackson- Buck O'Neil

Re: Da Astros
You just have to look at the swing and for whatever reason, it just feels smooth to me. Really reminds me of Robbie Cano. Most scouts agree that this kid is the real deal.

You seem unbelievably emotionally invested in this kid. And you fully realize that Jeter IS the worst defender at his position, right? This kid isn't as good as Correa, not by a long shot, at least *yet*

And a scout you say? Do you mean Ksig? He's got a thread around here where you can ask about prospects, you may want to post a question on the kid and see if he's heard anythingCheck out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

Re: Da Astros
Best players in the MLB? No way. Mike Trout is probably gonna hold that title for the next 5+ years

Re: Da Astros
I only used paper copies and the footage there for the basis on my decision. This kid is waaaaayyyy better than Correa. I mean Domingo is a .890 BP hitter... Correa just a semi-pro.

Re: Da Astros
Alright, guess I've taken the far enough.... Domingo isn't a real baseball player. He's just some guy that mascarades as a baseball player.

Re: Da Astros
I know... If I wouldn't have screwed up the comps and got them mixed up it would've been better.
What would Milwaukee fork over for him?
