Re: Playing every game during the season
We are planning on playing 10 total games per week. If done, we would be on schedule to finish in 4.51346153846 years!! Maybe sooner, I am gonna help him when I can but I actually think he is going to do it because he sticks with something when he wants too. This is Funkey Monkey's thread, so I apologize for clogging it up with some unrelated posts. My cousin thanks you for inspiring him to try this idea out, Funkey Monkey. How far along are you in your 2,430 Season?Comment

Re: Playing every game during the season
I've done this exact same thing in each iteration of The Show the last three years. I've never made it out of the first month of the season (skipped spring training). Each year it becomes more and more difficult for me to find time to play. I'm currently on April 6th. Yankees @ Rays. I play home teams only.
Good luck FunkeyMonkey. Have fun. Glad I'm not the only person who has done this.PSN: PhiNuPi

Re: Playing every game during the season
The Phillies get 5 runs in the 8th to blow the game open and end up winning 11-5 over the Pirates. There are 2 more games left on 4/8 which means there are 45 games down 2385 to goComment

Re: Playing every game during the season
I can't wait to retire. Then I will perhaps have time to play out a franchise playing every game for several seasons. To play every game in a season is quite a task to undertake! Good luck and I'll definitely check back and see your progress!Comment

Re: Playing every game during the season
How do you guys think would be the best way to update this with screenshots? i thought about posting the news story that comes up every day or maybe a certain page of the league leaders? looking for some ideas of what everyone would like to seeComment

Re: Playing every game during the season
Please don't post the newspaper clippings.
League leaders and standings shots would be nice. Maybe some individual team stats, some team rankings, and transactions shots when trades happen would be cool too; at your discretion.
Anything but the newspaper clippings, please.Comment

Re: Playing every game during the season
Bryce Harper made the 25 man roster out of spring training in my franchise but was slotted to come off the bench and get spot starts. Then in the first game of the season Michael Morse broke his ankle and will be out for 2-3 months. Bryce was put into the starting lineup and here is how he has done so farAttached FilesComment

Re: Playing every game during the season
Finished the last couple innings of game 63 and then got 64 knocked out as well, got a couple innings then did the in game save which i love in the Mariners/Rangers game. Mariners have been a surprise going undefeated in their first 4 games while Texas is 3-1, should be an interesting game. 2366 to goComment

Re: Playing every game during the season
I have been plugging away at knocking out games whenever possible. I have finished 71 games which leaves 2359 to go! I did something in game 68 that i had never done before in 4 years of playing the show. Jair Jurrjens hit a HR. It was an offenisve game played in Minute Maid Park, but none the less, when he made contact and the ball landed in the second row of the Crawford Boxes i was shocked!Attached FilesComment
