got game 126 done last night. game 127 is the Yankees vs Angels. the Yanks have been horrible, the batting has been ok but the pitching has been absolutely horrible. a team ERA of over 6.00. the Angels have been playing well and Albert is starting to heat up. in the first inning of the game he took a hanging off spead pitch from Nove and hit his MLB leading 5th homerun. got late in the night so i saved the game, but Santana was cruising for the Angels and amking it seem like a 1-8 could be a definate possibility for the Yanks. 2304 to go!

you talk about yankees ERA being bad the twins in mine Liano has been terrible 3 starts for a ERA of 22 and the tiwns ERA in total is at 8.6! they are averageing almost 8 runs per game in their first 12 games OUCH

I get the feeling by playing eveyr single game teams play from hot and cold, I just smashed the rays with the Blue Jays 14-1 it was just one of those days where everything went my way yet in the other game the rays won 11-4

I had some offensive fireworks over the weekend. in the Angels/Yankees game i was talking about friday, the Machine hit 3 hrs in the game to give him a MLB leading 7 for the year. he wasnt the only player to hit 3 hr on the day though. Josh Hamilton hit 3 in a win over the Twins. it was a game of many hrs, as the Rangers won 20-10. another game had 14 runs scored by the winning team, i guess the offenses were in full effect on jackie Robinson day. still 4 more games left on the day and 2295 to go on the season

got 2 games in last night to bring the total to 137. not quite the fireworks i had over the weekend. had a game go 14 inning tied 3-3 until a walk off 3 run hr by Carlos Ruiz. 2293 to go!

only got a couple of games in over the 4th. went to see the gateway Grizzlies play last ngith and the fireworks afterwards. love going to the minor league games, they make such an effort for everyone to have a good time, makes me almost want to play all the minor league games in a season as well.....not! lol. dont think i would ever be able to handle that unless i hit the lottery and had an unlimited supply of 5 hour energys! up to 139 down and 2291 to go!

was a good weekend for playing. got 10 games in over the weekend. did have a bit of a scare though. played the Padres at Colorado and had a very entertaining come from behind win for the Padres, then got to the box score and went to exit the game and it frooze up on me. out of 150 games this has now happened 4 times so i can handle it, just stinks losing that game and having to replay it.

took a screen shot of the NL K leaders, Strasburg had a great last game but took the hard luck first loss of the year when the Nationals got shut out.

Great thread. Reminds me of when I was 13 or 14, many moons ago, and tried this with Strat-o-Matic Baseball.

I think I played about 30 games with each team, then school started and I pretty much stopped.

In hindsight, I should have played an abbreviated schedule (every team playing every other team in its league twice). That way I could have played the postseason.

Hey Funkymonkey... Are you starting to see more statistical details? Such as Lefty/Righty splits and 5 game breakdowns?

I might attempt this using 5 inning games but no way would I do full 9 inning games for every team. Good luck.

How are you going about trades between teams?
