Hard to say, kt-od. I started everything new, post 1.16. The times are still wrong on the vita, but there are no freezes at all.


DJ, right after I sent my save from the vita to the cloud, I simmed a season, knowing I could just load it back up if anything went a rye, everything looked perfectly fine at the end if the season. Playoffs, stats, etc...

So far so good. Still fingers crossed as I'm quite cautious, but very happy as if right now.

Good to hear so far, Matt. I hope it continues that way. I'll probably start up my Twins Franchise and just hope for the best. I can't stand waiting anymore.

It was the reason I bought a vita as well. I haven't even turned my vita on since 1.06 dropped.

Ya my vita is MIA as well since then.

There is so much about this whole patch mess that sucks. I think it's fair to want and need an explanation from Sony. I also believe this has made some problems come to light that need to be addressed in the future.

Such as:
1. The ability to use online features only if patch is applied.
By this being the case Vita users are completely screwed as of now.

2. Restarting franchises or RTTS.
This one I feel very strongly about. These message boards are filled with people suggesting SCEA should just tell us to restart our franchises or RTTS. The game has been out for almost 2 months. I'm supposed to start a 162 game season after 2 months?

3. Purchased RTTS points.
SCEA definetly has a responsibility here.
Losing your purchased points because of a borked patch is not cool.

If I could roll back the patch version or even delete the newest patch and still use all aspects of the game. I and others I think could be satisfied.

Russell has been on TSN all day, so there blows that theory

He is not logged in 24 hrs a day. As a matter of fact, he is rarely there and rarely responds. Its one of the main complaints about TSN is that the MODS and DEVs are rarely there and rarely respond.
So just the simple fact that he is there speaks volumes regardless what day of the week it is or is not.

Your statement that they probably didnt know, is absurd. It insinuates they are either clueless about their job or too inept to perform it properly.

You cannot honestly think they had no idea that the patch was being issued.
I know exactly what is going on at my job right now even though Im at home. Im quite certain they are aware unless the new guy or the janitor hit the wrong button Sat morning!


I think your last sentence of the original post is more accurate.

They don't have a say in WHEN it is released. They send it to Sony/PSN and THEY determine if/when it gets released. What I said WAS they probably didn't expect it to release on Sat. I could be wrong, however.

Im sure glad he logged in to TSN and saw there was a patch issued Sat AM.
Otherwise he wouldnt have known!

Don't know what happened, but my RTTS works with the patch now.

I deleted yesterday and played a few games. Decided to re-download patch tonight and everything is fine, until I got called up in August and saw the losses bug

I just finished my game on the ps3, (loss lol) transferred it back to my vita, fired it up, checked things out.... Everything is awesome! So far... Haha. #skidish

But very happy.

So heres a summary.

Dled 1.16 ps3, started brand new season with osfmst, instantly saved to the cloud and put it on the vita, played 2 games at work today, (don't judge I worked 14 hours) transferred it to the ps3 when I got home tonight, played 1 game, transferred it back to the vita checked everything out again, and no issues at all with the exception of game times.

I simmed seasons on both systems as well and everything was as it should be at the end of each season. Stats, league leaders, playoffs, wildcards, etc...

Play ball as far as I'm concerned! Yes!

I'm planning to DL 1.16 next time I fire up my PS3...From what I've read, it seems like I should be OK considering that I didn't start my franchise until after 1.06.

Is this confirmed, or will I experience standings/freezing issues?

With so many negatives to these patches, I feel a bit pissed that without them I can't access online features, the vault, etc. SCEA have basically taken one of the main features of the game and rendered it useless.

Won't download a patch until it's shown to not fubar the game.
