Why can't they have just created ALL of the classic stadiums? There weren't that many stadiums, in total, before the ones currently in MLB, right? I would love to have my Reds play at Riverfront Stadium.

I think they have to pay for the rights to use each classic stadium. That would be awesome though. I would love to play some games in the Launching Pad, Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium!

I made a 2009 & 2006 roster and use the Dome for those franchises. I still have many memories from MLB 08 & MLB 09 bouncing balls off the baggie. I even used the dome for my MLB 11 franchise, liked that stadium a lot.

I played all home games in Shea for the Mets franchise in 11. This year, I'm mostly on Vita and unfortunately there's no option for using classic stadiums there.

The best post I ever read was on page 1 of this thread "Cooperstown the Show".

Could you imagine how awesome that would be, especially since the age of gamers rises. I love baseball but what I loved more was baseball when I was a kid think 88-95. I would imagine the licensing costs of this would be astronomical though and probably never happen. Just to get a year specific say 1990 for instance and license with all the former stars. Also let's remember some of them I am sure have been irresponsible with their money (as much as I hate to say but Lenny Dykstra comes to mind) and would hold out for more. Just look at the upcoming NBA 2K13, Pippen holds out.

All in all let us customize leagues and put in Tiger Stadium (I would pay 20 for it) and I am happy

When I was playing with the Nationals last year, I would play some games at Griffith Stadium because Nationals' Park isn't that attractive to me. Mets games were always at Shea and Phillies games were at Shibe.
