Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
Ask bwoodring! He was franchising with the pirates while he was gm of the phillies for this, and pokerplaya said it was ok. I'm not changing who I'm the rep for, because I don't want to handle twins requests. If someone is interested in a player from the twins, I'm not responding because I am the rays rep. Just because I'm doing a franchise with the twins, doesn't mean I'm their rep for this thread! Also as long as I say who it is from, it should be fine. I mean what if I did a franchise with 2 teams? Would I have to be a rep for both? I mean seriously think about what you are posting!Comment

Buddy, I've talked to Bwoodring a LOT, he's using the Phillies. Don't argue this with me. A fact is a fact, just like a wall is a wall."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

RE: Joe Mauer
We are letting you all know that we are going to try and trade Joe Mauer. As he is now 29, it seems as for every year he gets older, we get worse. We would rather not trade him, as he is THE perfect Twins player, we just don't see us being able to win before he retires. With the current players we have(not in office, but I think Sano is only A pot. prospect we have), we need to rebuild the whole system. Since it is now June 29th(going off real life, as I am waiting to start until Scott's rosters come out, but the ratings are based of real life, so it should be similar), and we are completely out of it, we have decided to contact you all as you are still in the hunt for the playoffs. We are also contacting you all as none of you have catching situations where Mauer wouldn't be an improvement. We currently have an offer on the table from the Phillies of Dominic Brown and Vance Worley for Mauer, so you can know what we are expecting. They are both MLB caliber players who would be our cornerstones of our franchise. We hope to hear from y'all soon!
Best regards,
Kirk Plum, Twins GM
P.S. Since we are going off of real life stats, all of the information(stats and records) is already in your hands. We would also be willing to include other veterans that would help you all make the playoffs and go fever further. We will also be willing to take on any bad contracts(like a Scott Feldman and Torrealba, then we would include Mauer to replace Torrealba and Baker/Pavano or another pitcher for Feldman.) if it helps us getter better prospects in return. To: Rnagers

Re: Borbon
We would love for him to be our new LF, and we feel he just doesn't have a spot on your team. Since I'm using your rosters Scott, I'm going off of real life stats. If you are interested in trading for Mauer, as I sent you an email above regarding availability of Mauer, Borbon could be included in he deal. Here is link to Borbons stats:
The Official Site of Minor League Baseball web site includes features, news, rosters, statistics, schedules, teams, live game radio broadcasts, and video clips.
If you aren't interested in Mauer, we could include a player like Josh Willingham, as he could be an upgrade on Murphy. Tell us what you think!
Hope to here from you soon,

We like Conger, but the other 2 players won't help us in rebuilding process. Conger is the only player in the trade we would be interested in.(We would take Hunter if it helps us get a better contract, as we would be taking his contract off your hands)

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
But if you don't want to handle Twins reps, why the heck are you posting offers for the Twins? What are you doing, man? This is confusing me, now, too.

Also I was saying that bwoodring WAS franchising with the pirates. Ask him!Comment

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
The whole point of this thread is for people to get trades that would be fair in their franchise. Since I'm the twins in my franchise, I post as the twins, and I send it to the team with whom I want to trade with. A person familiar with that team(their gm/ ***. gm in this thread) contacts me, and helps me get a deal done that would be fair/realistic irl. The whole thing behind the rep thing is so the poster deals with someone familiar with that organization. I know the rays well, as I'm a huge fan of them, but I don't like playing with them in game, as I get too connected to players, and I won't get better.

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
You were responding to the offer from my franchise that I started. I'm responding, because you were responding to MY offer. You weren't starting the discussion. I'm saying I'm not responding to someone that starts the discussion TO the twins, but I started the negotiations, so you are responding as a person with knowledge of their team, not as a poster that is inquiring about Mauer for your chise.Comment

I know you're within the rule book here, but you're also being very confusing. Very, very confusing."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment
