More realistic "no doubt" home run animations. It's rare to see a guy literally turn around and flip or throw his bat. Those animations can stay in the game, but many more realistic animations should be added.

I don't recall this being an issue in past itterations but maybe it was and I just never noticed it. Anyway, the issue is players being locked in animations. For example, I played a game this morning in which the CPU pitcher popped up a bunt. I got in position and made the catch and saw the runner from second 3/4 of the way to third so I attempted to make a quick throw back to second to double the runner off. However, my pitcher was stuck in this slow animation in which he made the catch, continued to take 3 more steps despite not really having that much momentum, made a slow turn and then lobbed the ball to second despite my throw meter being maxed out. This isn't the only instance that I've had things like this happen but this one really bothered me because had I doubled the runner off I would have been out of the inning, instead the next guy up belts a three run homer, costing me the game.

Every year, they make the game play better and better. It’sthe smaller things I’d like to see addressed. We need an option that acts like a league commissioner that can approve all trades before they are final. No matter how much you pay attention, ridiculous trades manage to get by and you’re forced to let the trade stand or replay the last day. With this option on, no trade is official until it is approved.

I’d like to see a change with the uniforms. Year after year,certain teams have problems with their uniforms and I know it’s because of the style guide.

There needs to be some kind of team editor where we can setthe default colors for a team. We could set the default shoe color as the coaches all wear the default shoes. We should be allowed to change the uniform numbers for the coaching staff. We could set the default batting helmet style for a team and I’d like to see the old batting helmet with no ear protectors added for the classic rosters. We could also enable the retired numbers in this screen for classic rosters. It’s silly to create classic rosters but not allowthe players to have their actual numbers. We could also choose to have player names on the back of the jersey or remove the names.

We need to be able to edit the uniforms with the editor thatis already in the game. This would fix the problem of having incorrect uniforms. In the game, Cleveland wears navy blue under their alternate home uniforms but they should be wearing red. If we could go into the editor and makeadjustments to the sock and undershirt colors, this would resolve this problem.There are other teams as well, the Astros should have red under their alternates and the Nationals should have red under their road uniforms. The Braves old time uniform is pretty close to the alternate uniform they are wearing, if we could just change the sock color. If we could use the editor to assign these colors, it would fix the problem.

The Red Sox and the Mets wear anniversary patches and evenafter the first season, they continue to wear the patches. The editor would allow us to remove them at the end of the season.

If we could change the color of the jerseys in the editor,we would be able to create special jerseys some teams use. Boston has worn green uniforms on occasion for various reasons. Last year, the Brewers had that gold jersey.

Also, the batting helmet needs to match the hat. For some reason, the jersey dictates what helmet is worn. The Nationals wear 3 different helmets on the road and they mix and match them with different jersey. Eventhough they have been wearing the blue and red helmet for at least 2 years, it’s still not in the game. The blue and red hat is there but not the helmet. The Orioles helmet with the white front panel is not in the game. Just make a helmet to match each hat and let us assign the batting helmet that is worn inthe team editor. I’d like to be able to control the colors of the new catchers mask and not just have a standard color and select the helmet the catcher will wear in the field.

I realize they are supposed to follow the style guide, butif we could make edits, they can follow the style guide and we can make changes that are necessary. The editor is already available in the game for created teams, just make it useable for the MLB teams.

2 different batting stances for switch-hitters. For example: Matt Wieters has a normal stance righty, but an open stance lefty. Also, being able to argue calls with players/managers. Having control over what player at what time will charge the mound after a HBP. Being able to pull back on a drag bunt. Using all the players respective team's jersey in the all-star game. Change a lot of players batting stance/pitching windup. Overall though, this game is awesome.

Just a few things:
-Allow us to edit coaching outside of Franchise; create a coach, reassign coaches to other teams.
-Create-a-team outside of Diamond Dynasty. Add in Create-a-stadium and I don't think I'd ever put the game down.
-Stop giving minor league managers cornrows and handlebar mustaches. I don't really think players have those anyways. (While on the subject of hair, why not give buzzcuts, dreads, mullets, and a slider to adjust the amount of gray hair a player has?)
-Some very small accessory additions: gloves or the arm-brace-thing while baserunning; necklaces (metal or Phiten); different catcher gear designs; etc.
-Adjustment of RTTS goals based on what type of player we are (no more HR goals when we bat leadoff).
-And of course, the commentary needs some work - everyone says this, but this obviously excludes Vasgersian.

i wish you can take your RTTS player over to mlb the show 13 rather than remaking my player again and bein a rookie lol.. i do wish it was more like RL off the field and on the field where you get fined for not showing up to practice, gettin thrown out of a ball game (have yet to see this in mlb 12).. ejected after hitting a batter more than 3 times in a row.. (i hit 14 batters and was still in the game to see if i would ever get ejected.. never did..) have twitter, facebook like madden lol i kinda like it.. and if you are a relief/closing pitcher, or benched because you are takin a day off you should be able to watch every game besides just jumpin in like mlb 12 and the others. rain out games .. and like a MLB Tonight Recap Show.. other than this stuff i like playin mlb the show since 09 when i first bought a ps3 its improved over the years and hopin it continues to improve..

Classic teams and more classic stadiums. Outside of that, the game is absolutely incredible.

Would also like to see varying winds regardless of location and eliminate the slider for it.

Pre-game batting practice with warmup uniforms and hats on during season / franchise mode.

Fix Comerica Park HR celebration. The fountains go off and the eyes of the Tigers on the scoreboard flash. Seems my Tiges can't get any love.

Mini Games - Amped up HR derby with targets; fantasy stadiums (like Baseball Simulator 1000); Roofs open / close during rain; which leads me to dynamic weather

Incorporate This Week in Baseball with Mel Allen's voice with weekly highlights

Choice of home / away gear for each player (i.e. shoe color)

Improved celebrations for World Series - IN franchise have a pre-game ceremony in second season for WS Champs receiving rings...

Better trade logic in Franchise & RTTS modes.

Goals that make more sense to achieve in RTTS mode. Also you should have a choice if you want to play your entire career with one team. I think many people would agree that it would be cool to play your entire career with your favourite team. If your team wants to trade you maybe in the menu you could be prompted and have the option of declining it.

Retractable roofs that work. I'm honestly blown away how this hasn't been done yet STILL!! graphics, detail, everything is great about stadiums but yet still this gets left out year after year.

Fix the weather. specifically with temps... I think across the board every city seems to cold most of the time especially night games.

More variety of animations for some plays; such as jumping, throwing, HR celebrations.

Fix the finance aspect of Franchise. Make more limited budgets for teams, especially based on performance. Regardless of how my team does, every year I make boat loads of cash and can basically sign anyone I want, acquire the best coaches, scouts, medicine, rehab etc...

Add playable single A leagues.

More depth to scouting, drafting, training.

I love MLB 12, as I'm not a "baseball guru" or anything it doesn't take too much for me to satisfy my baseball gaming needs. However, these are a couple things that I wouldn't mind seeing in for 13.

- I think the base running animations are a little spastic looking and don't look like realistic running movements.

- I remember playing a baseball game back on the original xbox where you could customize the jersey fit. I'd like to see that. Example: Loose, normal, tight, and you could choose whether to have it buttoned all the way up or the top button unbuttoned.

- More hairstyle and facial hair styles

- I see a lot of swings where the player will release the bat almost immediately after making contact, before he even comes close to finishing his swing, I think the timing could be better on that.

Honestly, that's about it from me... I love this game and can't wait to see what they do for 13.

Please add the ability to edit player potential and player contracts outside of franchise and season modes. Would also like it if they would fix it were superstar players like Jeter, Ichiro, A-rod etc don't retire after the first year. Also maybe release the game world wide so people outside of America don't have to import it every year.

I would really enjoy this because I'm obsessive about the uniforms my players wear. It would be GREAT to have an option for home/away gloves or even just switch the white bits of gloves to road grey.

I love this idea as well. Maybe during player creation you can select an archetype (speedster, contact hitter, power hitter) and Road to the Show goals will be adjusted accordingly. I also love your idea of either disabling (for those guys who just want to be on their favorite team) or being able to veto player trades in the RTTS options.

Real equipment! Every other sports game has it! We're talking Nike, Reebok, Under Armour, Mizuno, Louisville Slugger etc! And maybe get the San Francisco Giants broadcasters Kruk & Kuip from the MVP baseball series to do the commentary. :-)

On the EDIT PLAYER screen:
More options for 2nd position. Could possibly make Utility maybe? Or even a 2B/3B/SS, or a LF/RF, or a 1B/OF.
Also, could put tendencies on where they hit the ball, and if more than likely they pull it, make it so that other teams will put shift on him.
And another thing for accessories... Put certain items for time of day. Example: Both Ryan Zimmerman and David Wright wear high socks during day games, and long pants during night games.
