It pisses me off that when you get to the playoffs, your regular season stats go bye bye when you are in game....everyone is .000

More stat overlays is what I don't understand. Every now and then we get the stat showing home and road average or after the player hits a double show how many for the year, but other than that it's bland.

They use to flash stats like 1st career hit or homerun and things like that. It's like this part of the game has gotten worse as the game itself has gotten better

That happens because that's how it goes in real life. Everyone starts over when the playoffs start.

I disagree with that statement... there is usually at least two or three stats every year in Madden that do not match up as they should.

Personally I wouldn't mind though, I still have plenty of room on my HDD and the addition of advanced stats and sabermetrics for a player's career would be worth it.
Sure, and even if nothing else -- adding it as an extra data file like they do with the 5MB data files now for us freaks who would use gig after gig on it would be an easy fix to satisfy those who don't need everything, and those that want every sabermetric currently used!

probably will never happen, but it would be amazing to be able to export stats into excel for example, and be able to sort through and compare much more easily.

You replied twice to the same post!

The navigation was fine for me in The Show 11. The Show 12 is faster, but I'd rather have more statistical information shown on Player Card, and other stat related stuff. I know your stance on this and you know mine.

                  Have a nice day!

this is one thing the SCEA team does not understand about baseball when it comes to making their game.
                    baseball is ALL about stats.

                    they need to fix that.

Re: Stat Tracking or Lack Thereof

I have been asking for this in wish lists for the last mmm... 3+ years now... here are some of my examples..

Individual batter vs pitcher stats both single season and franchise. I want to know every time i face a guy how each of my batters did against him.

Team vs team stats both single season and franchise

pitcher vs batter stats single and franchise

                      team record in each stadium

                      pitcher stats in each stadium

                      pitcher stat home vs road

                      hitter stats home vs road

                      batter stats for RISP

batter stats for how they hit in different slots in the lineup

there are many more but you get the idea... as a virtual manager i need to know these things each and every game so as to be able to put my best team and batting order out.

I was thinking that you could see everyones stats from every season.

The Show absolutely must start tracking career stats better or there is no way I will be buying the 2013 iteration. With other sports games having no problem tracking career stats and achievements, I see no reason why The Show cannot follow suit.

There are actually a number of things that need to be improved in franchise mode, but career stats is definitely going to be the number one thing I look for next year. No career stats, no purchase.
