Actually, the 'face' of the sun turns to a spinning baseball and displays the HR distance.

Oh..and the company is a Korean conglomerate company named Hanwha, which owns the professional Korean baseball team, Hanwha Eagles.

Ramone stated in a previous post that player photos are their real photos until they are traded or sign with another team then it changes to the CAP face you see with Pence. great addition to the game I must say. Now when a player changes teams we don't have to worry about him keeping his original photo on his new team.

Doesn't seem that diff. Though is it just me, or did they remove the red seats in MLB13? Cause MLB12 had them, but MLB13 pic looks like the red seats are gone(which makes no sense since Rogers Centre still has them....)

In season modes (Franchise and RTTS) when a player is traded or joins a new team in the off season if they have a real photo it will be replaced with the cap screen shot.

So basically if you do a fantasy draft franchise every player on your team will be wearing the correct hats and jersey's.

Brillant!! brilliant! should have read the whole thread before posting, this solves the issues with the wrong uni one of those visual things great idea

so it only changes the photo in franchise and RTTS mode? what if we made a change to the roster before starting a franchise ? woul dit still have his photo or change? coz i know people here will try and create big rosters before the season starts and things will change. and with updated rosters will it have the change of photo

Since Russell will never be able to track down half the stuff with the Unis I was wondering is somebody going to bring that feedback thread to community day?

I mean, basically, 3/4 of people's problems with Unis are IN THAT thread and it would make sense to me for the guys at CD to sit down and go through the thread with any devs willing to help to correct mistakes. I recall some pretty big Twins ones as well as Toronto and a couple others.

Also, Toronto grass looks quite a lot better to my eyes.

Yes, it is "real-time", if you will. If you make moves during your season, franchise, RttS, etc., then the pictures update accordingly. Basically, the CPU knows each players "default" team. Kind of how sounds of the show knows what sounds are set on the front end rosters.

I'm wondering that too. If the player portrait thing is only for franchise/rtts mode or will it apply to exhibition mode too.

And I wonder if there's an option to have cyberface even if that guy is wearing the team hat(ex-Can we have bautista cyberface wearing a Jays hat?)

Well I guess in the screenshot example it still has Pence in the Phillies Hat from 2011 but becaues he was a Giant he changes to Cyberface, It might have been exibition mode??

What about when there is a trade in real life?

Like for "exibition mode" when the new rosters are released would the player on his new team have his new hat with a Cyberface or will he still have his real face with his old team hat like in MLB 12 The Show?

I think this is what some of us are trying to find out.
