Re: Community Day 2013 - FRANCHISE MODE/EDITOR
Glad the retiring issue is fixed, at least I hope it is completely fixed. Maybe the most frustrating thing in the game.
Do players still retire at such young ages though, 35-36?
Do they retire after good years statistically still?
What age would you say they retire on average now, just a ballpark?www.facebook.com/watson.kristopher

Re: Community Day 2013 - FRANCHISE MODE/EDITOR
Oh one more thing to add to my retiring questions, will the players in the game have the same length of years on their contract as they do in real life?
I dont want to see Arod retiring before 2018!!! Will Pujols still have 9 years left on his deal?Comment

Re: Community Day 2013 - FRANCHISE MODE/EDITOR
Can you guys give any further details on the push/pull system? How its determined in the game. Is it completely random for created and RTTS players or is it based on attributes at all.
Also for the swing choices, how many are there and how do they look in practice? Can you choose a swing for every player including MLB players? Does this mean that swings are not connected to the stances anymore?Comment

Re: Community Day 2013 - FRANCHISE MODE/EDITOR
My questions are pertaining to the EDITOR. I'm not asking how the push/pull system plays gameplay wise, I'm asking how its handled by the game in terms of the editor. How the game decides who is push/pull. And also the new option in the editor for picking a swing type (step in, etc) as indicated by the fact sheet.Comment

Re: Community Day 2013 - FRANCHISE MODE/EDITOR
Piggybacking on part of MrOldboy question on editing.
Assuming that Knight played around with the batting stance editor. Could you talk about that some when you get a chance. If adjusted did the swing animations still look clean?
Also slightly related can we use edited rosters, IE editing batting stances, pitching motions, accessories, positions etc. in The Show Live mode?University of Kentucky Wildcats 8x Champs
Cincinnati Reds 5x Champs
Cincinnati Bengals I just want a playoff win!Comment

Re: Community Day 2013 - FRANCHISE MODE/EDITOR
Thanks again to all the guys putting in some long hours at Community Day.
Quick boxscore questions for Knight165/tabarnes19.
When you start the playoffs in franchise mode, the boxscore is no longer an option to view once the game is completed from the schedule menu. This only happens when you start the playoffs, regular season is fine.
I will also ask my usual expanded boxscore in franchise mode question. I would be thrilled if we could have a MLB.com type boxcore, instead of the very vanilla one that is used now. (pitch counts for each pitcher used, Team RISP, Team LOB: etc. )
You cannot get this info in the gamelog, because once you finish a game or save a game, the log is not available for reference.
thanksComment

The playoffs viewable boxscore is back. No changes this year to the log or box scores.Comment

Re: Community Day 2013 - FRANCHISE MODE/EDITOR
Thanks for this opportunity guys! I am so envious of you! Just a couple of quick ones. First, did they eliminate the CPU making unrequested changes in manager only mode (calling for hit and runs, steals, pitching around, taking pitches, making lineup changes when you fast forward to another inning, etc.)? Also, what about the constant line drives off of the pitcher in 2012 that landed in another time zone yet the pitcher was not injured? They need to cut down the frequency of these and have them result in at least some physical consequence!).Comment

In franchise mode what happens if we don't meet goals? Do we get fired? Can we switch teams at any point or do we need to have 30 team control to do that?Comment

Re: Community Day 2013 - FRANCHISE MODE/EDITOR
Can someone check to see if they fixed the temperatures some more. It's the only thing that seems to bother me that the players auto wear long sleeves when it hits a certain temp. Almost every night game the pitcher has long sleeves.Comment

Re: Community Day 2013 - FRANCHISE MODE/EDITOR
Ok, been out a bit, busy with stuff and just realized the community stuff was now. I'm moving a set of questions and suggestions over from the Fact Sheet Thread:
Super excited about the news of All-Time Records being included! This has been one of my most desired features since I started playing The Show. Would it be possible to let the devs give us a screenshot of this?
Also I want to know what records are recorded and how many are listed in the All-Time list (top 5, 10, 25, 100)?
Secondly, as a suggestion, I know it would be too late to get them into this year's game...but this is something I'd pay for as DLC if it were made an option for this year (and I'm sure many others would too like the additional stats we got a few years ago). Team All-Time Records. SO I can play for the Reds and see my RTTS or Franchise Rookie climb up the list of Reds All-Time Hits leader, HR leader or break the team's single season HR record.Comment
