Just an FYI to anyone that wasn't following the other thread

Thanks to consistent campaigning to the developers by our dedicated & loyal OS community Woodweaver was able to make a last second change before the game was locked and for the first time ever the pitch type/speed will always be displayed in the score bug regardless of the Pitch Callout setting and this includes CPU vs CPU games

Will temperatures be more accurate in all ballparks? Tired of seeing rangers in long sleeves until June. It doesn't get long sleeve cold until maybe October in Texas

This is Awesome! I like having the pitch callout turned off when I play. I'm probably one of the few who's actually really excited about this!

Just curious, Andrew McCutchen being the cover athlete and all were the devs able to get Cutch's dreds to actually look like they do in real life?!?! Last year they were short and above the dreds near the hat it just look like an afro. So instead of dreds all over it looked like afro into dred. Hard to tell in that video of him getting the hit to left. Thanks much! Later

P.S. Will any of the peeps that attended community day (weekend) be able to post pics or videos of their experience and/or gameplay? Is their a certain official date that u have to abide by b4 u can start posting? If so, when's the date? Thanks again!

will there be patches for Stan Musial on the Cardinals uniforms and Earl Weaver on the Orioles uniforms?

I believe I read somewhere that those were improved upon. Don't quote me on it though!

Stuff like this depends on the Cardinals and Orioles, respectively. SCEA can't add a Uniform that isn't in the Uniform Log for the respective team, and they can only add the uniform as it appears in the book. So if those teams haven't bothered to add uniforms + those patches to their "official" collection, I don't think they can really be used.

Thank you for answering. I didn't even think about the fact they have to follow what is, for lack of a better term, allowed by the MLB and the respective teams.

There are a lot of people that are really excited about this and this has been on my personal agenda to get in the game since MLB07

Playing an organic game of baseball with no OSD's besides a scorebug that displays pitch type/speed has been my ultimate dream and now it's a reality

Was all the stadium audio completely redone for all modes this year? Or just Post Season and Road to the Show? I know a lot of us here last year thought the crownd audio could be improved with smarter reactions in certain situations in the game.

Great to hear.. I hate how every game feels like number 162 from 2008 of the regular season for the mets.. Now hopefully next gen PlayStation can get the fans to be able to sit down and react much like a human would in a game instead of standing up too much and not rising and correctly on a homerun and all that.
