Re: Community Day 2013 - Presentation, Graphics & Sound - Questions/Concerns/Inquirie
The question is, will he keep his dreads in real life throughout the whole year. You might be saying the opposite thing next year. Granted there aren't that many players that warrant discussions about their hair, but the big stars I do want to be accurate at least as well.Comment

Re: Community Day 2013 - Presentation, Graphics & Sound - Questions/Concerns/Inquirie
I thought the game already did this, at least I think I encountered this in RTTS. Although I usually play my early years in RTTS by only doing at bats and having quick play on so maybe it was a result of that since when I would get a hit, it would immediately go into my next at bat so the hitting feedback would be for my last made contact. Not really sure though as I never use the hitting feedback since its so random. Ball 5 inches above PCI...good contact and a 430 ft HR. Ball near center of PCI...poor contact an a pop up.Comment

Re: Community Day 2013 - Presentation, Graphics & Sound - Questions/Concerns/Inquirie
Just thought of something that I haven't seen brought up, I wish I thought of it earlier as it may now be to late to implement...
Custom between-inning music doesn't work during extra innings, as the slots available are only for the first 9. Any way they can be cycled again through the remainder of the game? (for example...mid and end of 1st inning music plays for the mid and end of the 10th, etc)The Signature of New YorkComment

Re: Community Day 2013 - Presentation, Graphics & Sound - Questions/Concerns/Inquirie
i have a question. will it be possible to have pitch callout off, but still be able to see the mph number the pitcher is throwing. i play both offense and defense on a BTP view and would love it this was part of the new scorebug or an optional part of the scorebug...just trying to keep it as close to a real broadcast as possible while playing. thanks.Comment

Haven't seen this question, yet.
As far as the player/team specific celebrations that they're adding this year go, will some of the computer-generated players have any generic celebrations along these lines? Or, will those start to dissapear, as we get further into franchise mode, and real players retire?
Edit: This is kind of a presentation/franchise crossover question. But, I thought it made more sense here.Comment

When playing the All-Star game, most notably the AAA and AA All Star games, will we be able to see which team each player is from? Maybe the team logo next to his name when he comes up to bat?
Not a big deal but when I play those games, I "scout" new talent and would like to not have to surf through all the teams to find out who he plays for so I can attempt to trade for him.Comment

I'm talking about from the batter's perspective. If viewing from the pitcher's perspective, then I like the real broadcast example you provided in the second video.
This is what I'm talking about regarding 2K's smooth transition after bat-ball contact: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mu9TdcoCSoc
The camera doesn't even change, it just moves and focuses in. It doesn't have to be done exactly like this, but at least follow the ball off the bat for a split second. It would be done differently based on whether it's from the "behind catcher" or "behind pitcher" views.
I was allowed to mess around with this during CD, and although we won't see anything new this year, next year and beyond looks very promising. Trust me on this fellas... and they definitely know that this is one of our wants. I made sure everyone who would listen knew about it. This late in the dev cycle just wouldn't allow for proper testing of new cameras, which essentially have to work with every stadium.

The guys have suprised me earlier this year, but to be honest this late in the process the chance of the logos being there for all star games probably won't happen. They were working hard on fine tuning as we left.Comment

I've been wishing for new camera stuff for years. Specifically, new fielding cameras that show more ball flight and the stadium (without the max zoom-in). Think fan-cam from the second deck. Sounds like we are out of luck this year?

We did discuss this with Aaaron and Luis. I don't know what the final verdict was though... maybe Knight or Tabarnes can answer.Comment
