Just thought of one:

In The Show 12, because I play with pitch callout off (because I want it to be more realistic and don't want the pitch type and speed in the middle of the strike zone) I also don't get to see the speed of the pitch displayed in the score at the top of the screen. I am wondering if there is an option to have the pitch speed displayed at the top like in real life without having the annoying pitch callout in the middle of the zone?

I don't belong in this thread! But since I'm here I guess I do kinda care about one presentation-related thing:

Last year for whatever reason, when pitching you could not summon the L3 swing analysis thingermajigger... You only had the Select button Pitcher Strategy screens and all that, but no easy way of seeing pitch history or whether they were late on that fastball or anything... I don't remember this being a problem in '11, I feel like it was only last year...

In any case, has this been changed? What new informative thingermajiggers do I have access to while pitching, that do NOT require me to pause gameplay? Sorry about my extremely technical language...

I make team packs for the OS Community and I sometimes run into a problem where I cannot add a specific sound because the game does not have that cue (an example would be a double play). I would like to know if Sounds of The Show has been expanded this year.

Are There New In-Game Cues for SOTS Such As:

-Double Play
-Robbed Home Run
-Diving Play
-Starter Warm Up (For those who have Starter Warm Up Enabled)
-Away Pitcher Warm Up
-Multiple Base Hit Songs (It gets boring hearing the same 3 songs throughout the game)
-Multiple Home Run Songs (Clutch HR, Milestone HR, Walk-Off HR)
-Multiple Scored Run Sounds (Taking The Lead, Tied Game)
-Multiple Strike Out Sounds
-In Between Innings Music (3 Slots per inning to alternate the songs, keeps the game from sounding the same)
-Background Effects (Train Passing By, Planes)

I think the answer for this may be extending the team entrance music (possibly 'takes the field' category in 13) over the warm up sequence, up until the first batter of the visiting team steps up to the plate.

I say this because that is what the Cardinals do in real life. Each starter just warms up to the same music that plays each time the team takes the field. If other teams do it differently, then just do whatever works best.

I'm not exactly sure which thread this would fit in or if this has been mentioned already, so I will apologize if it has been already...when it is below 60 degrees in games do the players still wear long sleeves no matter what? Maybe the players could wear them below like 50 degrees or so. Its kind of annoying having pitchers and position players wearing long sleeves in almost every night game in late May...

I logged on to ask this very question. I would love to finally see this be completely customizable.

Edit: Actually another question just popped in my head. I remember I think last year at the CD someone mentioned plans to update the stadium LED ribbons or something like that. I'm curious if this got any attention this year, like the scoreboards do yearly for each team. I think it adds alot more atmosphere to the ballpark.

-Can we finally customize the HUD this year? (options to not show certain things) CHECK!! It's in

-After a linedrive is caught by an infielder he stands there as if there is another play to make. When there are runners on base this makes sense but they always go to this animation. This is not necessary when the bases are emty or there are 2 outs.

-Will the pitcher (from time to time) turn his head to check the runners on base before the pitch. Always wondered why this isn't in.

-Highlite the player's name when there's an overlay for example the top RBI hitters. I always have to do a quick scan. Such an easy touch!

Will we see more unique swings this year? Uppercuts, level swings, etc.
And player specific types like the run away swing of Ichiro.

-Have the crowd reactions been improved?
Especially on those hits where it could be out of the park or not.
The crowd stands up way too much in my opinion.

Tack me onto the list of people who want to know about more in-game cues for Sounds of the Show.

-I would love to see cues for each type of hit (1B, 2B, 3B, HR), and multiple slots for each. Many teams have more than one song for each event.

-Also as others have said, I'm interested if starting pitcher cues have been added.

-Have crowd reactions been improved? When the crowd gives a sudden, loud "YEEEAAHHHHH" like these examples I get goosebumps like no other: http://atmlb.com/114JQHR and http://atmlb.com/VttlPF

It would be nice to see them cut down or eliminate the repeating animation where umpires grab/adjust their face mask before every single pitch.

One more thing:

Is there still the annoying animation of batters reaching into the dirt after every other pitch? Rarely happens in real life, for every stance that's not fully animated (Braun, Ortiz) it happens once every 2 or 3 pitches. Only happens on taken pitches as well, not after swinging.
