I'm not angels fan, but I like those too. Not cause it looks good, but cause those were jerseys angels wore during days I first watched baseball(so games like hardball 6,all star baseball 2000 and stuff like that, I saw that angels logo/jersey)

Exactly, went to a game in 2000 when I was 10, been a fan since. I remember these jerseys in an mlb game in the mid 2000s. Not sure if it was 2k or mvp but I know they havent been in a game for years, stoked to see em again

I'd rather have the Angels in the Outfield (1993-1996) uniforms in rather than the 1997-2001 set.

If they don't correct the 72 Braves helmets and socks, I won't use them. Thankfully SCEA added the Dale Murphy era uniforms as well.

Why didn't SCEA bother to add the 1983 White Sox uniforms????

My theory is, and I have absolutely nothing to back this up with, (thats why its a theory) we all know SCEA must follow the guidelines of the MLB Style Guide, my theory is that some MLB teams do not publish the exact on field uni's in the MLBSG so they can keep some of them on field exclusive. Also, team names, colors, logos and fonts are all proprietary to the team, (hence the reason for the SG), my theory is that they dont publish exact formulas for certain things like colors so they cant be copied EXACTLY.

Russell said they did not have a TOR jersey to reference so they had to use pictures and match the color as best they could.
Why? Why not use the SG? Well maybe they did and for whatever reason, the exact color match was not in the SG so they had to improvise.

My theory? It's still a work in progress. I highly doubt that those Braves uniforms will be the ones in the game, especially if they overrode the old Milwaukee set

Another thing to speak of: I've seen some of the style guide and I've never seen any reference to throwbacks. Those have to be licensed from elsewhere (at least that's my guess)

Thats correct, they are licensed by the HOF & Cooperstown Collection.

I can take the lack of proper Angels throwbacks and the loss of the Expos but why couldn't SCEA add the 1982-1986 White Sox uniforms?

SCEA didn't add any new uniforms for the White Sox, Mariners, Twins, Rays, Royals, Rockies, and Marlins.

Are you reading any of these posts or are you just asking questions from the hip? Seriously?

We've said it like 5 times in 5 different ways.
SCEA cannot just create whatever jersey it wishes.
They have to have the rights to do it.
They get those rights from either the MLBSG or the HOF & Coop Coll.

And even if they did add whatever jersey YOU want, someone else would be on here crying they didnt get the jersey THEY want.

Its just a jersey guys. Not the whole game itself.

And Im not sure about the other teams but the Marlins definitely got a new uniform. The 1997 uniform should be new, if its the alternate from that year.

Ah, you are correct and I apologize. When you brought up the throwbacks being of the city, you didn't specify it being in MLB 12 so I thought you were continuing what BronxBombers was trying to say. Sorry

Nonetheless, can BronxBombers or anyone else somehow figure out why the Expos jerseys were being used in 09 and not anymore? Just seems strange that its suddenly vanished.

At some point the Nationals decided to disassociate themselves with the Expos. Same reason they un-retired all of the Expos numbers in 2011.

This coincides with the articles I have read.
I can't remember who said that MON disallowed it, but it appears it's the other way around and WAS basically cut the Expos from its history.

The new throwback uniforms I'm looking forward to using are the Angels 2001, Brewers 1993, Padres 1988. This game is gonna be amazing.

Indeed it is. I'm pumped to finally use the 80's era Cubs and Braves uniforms. Every Sunday on the Show, the Braves will be dawned in the Dale Murphy/Bob Horner TBS uniforms. Only thing missing is Fulton County Stadium and the Marlboro Man billboard.

I was recently looking through some of my Topps late 80's ball cards and stoked to see that some of the uniforms from that era have made it in.

I'm just hoping for the 70's Indians and Pirates the selections are nice and not duplicates.

If they added the Rays 1999 Future jersey that would be awesome. Otherwise I don't understand why they put the 1998 and 1999 jerseys in. They were identical weren't they?
