    Re: MoM View

I am just beyond terrible at hitting so I've gone to MoM. With broadcast cam its just like watching on TV its awesome.

I really like it...my one request as some others have noted would be to allow us to call pitches. The CPU is not a fan of Dickey throwing the knuckler on two strikes
    Blue Jays, Blackhawks, Auburn

      Hopefully....
I have asked Chris_SCEA if they would give us the option to choose a combination of auto hitting or auto pitching....for those of us who can or like to do one of those things, but not the other.
I would love to just pitch and field in games and just have the CPU auto hit, but also be able to make any on field moves when my team is batting. A hybrid manage only mode.

        LetsGoBucs;

You need to choose the team like you are going to manage them...choose the uniform...then back out to the screen to choose the team again and go with yours.
        The uniform will stick.
I just played against the Phillies with the batting practice cap...the throwback white tops and the throwback light blue pants. Hideous.

I can do this for an exhibition game, but not a season/MOM game. Is it because when I set up my season I only chose to control one team? Someone earlier mentioned I may need 30 team control to do it.

            Yes...that is why.
I forgot that if you're just controlling one team it automatically puts you to that side.

That explains it. So I amend my earlier request to ask that they allow us to change the CPU uniform if you only control 1 team.

              Thanks for the quick response.

I agree 1000%. Took me few games getting use to setup my def all the time (esp after the inning is over... I kept forgetting... ) but I'm use to it now... It just takes little longer to finish the game

Here is a pic of the graphic bug I had earlier mentioned. Notice Pence and Scutaro are listed as left handed hitters. It does this for all hitters no matter which side they swing from before each at bat.

...from the schedule...MANAGE GAME....choose to play as the opposing team and go to the pick uni screen...choose the uni you want and then back out to pick your team(not all the way out).......and the uniform should be the one you chose.
                    Ok, ok...that works.
I never felt any 'confirmation' from backing-out, but it definitely sticks.

                      Re: MoM View

I experienced a visual bug this evening in a MoM Spring Training Season game using the "Dugout" view. It was strictly a visual bug, it did not effect the game play at all. I did a double switch where my replacement catcher took over the pitcher's #9 batting slot. Upon return from the bull pen screen into the "Dugout" view, my replacement catcher was nowhere to be seen. Actually he was where he was supposed to be. He was behind the plate taking pitches. He was just doing his best "Invisible Man" impression and doing a damn good job at it. The catcher stayed invisible for the duration of the opposing first batter's plate appearance. I tried going back to the bull pen screen as well as the game menu screen. But my catcher remained invisible whenever I returned to the "Dugout" view. I wasn't sure if that was it, I would not see my catcher for the rest of the game. But the opposing batter struck out and the game kicked into a automatic replay screen where the catcher was visible in the replay and then when the game returned to the "Dugout" view after the replay, there he was. I could see my catcher again.

Not sure, they have more options this year in MOM than they ever have before. It seems as if all the camera options that are in regular gameplay made it into MOM this year. Not sure if you can edit cameras or not, if not then go and create custom cameras you like, save them, and then they will be there in MOM.

I tried the dugout cam and it is much better but I'm just not a big fan of it. I like to play these games as if I'm watching on TV so I doubt I'll use it much. If I was going to use it though my preference would be to be closer to homeplate, not first base but I doubt I'd use it much anyway so it's not a big deal.

I have seen this as well, hoping a patch can remedy the situation.

                            Re: MoM View

I have never played MOM, but I am intrigued. However, why would I play as Manager if I cannot call the pitches?

I can't think of anything that would be more immersive in this mode than calling your own pitches. Immersive = feel like I'm really the manager, and the calls I make matter.

And lacking that ability would make me feel like I'm just playing a video game, and getting to pretend that my decisions matter.

I could care less about camera angles and uniform selection.

I don't think this is a dugout view or MoM problem. I have seen the same in other modes. Something about the double switch creates a problem. There was a similar issue last year on the Vita.

You mentioned the replay, and that might be the fix if it's not patched. Just go into replay ourselves, then when we come back out to gameplay the player should appear.

That's interesting to know. Maybe I will avoid double switching the catcher. Or if the bug is generic to double switching itself, I will try to immediate go to the replay screen if this bug resurfaces. But if the replay doesn't fix it, maybe I will just avoid double switching or just live with the invisible man as my catcher.
