Playing against the red sox in my franchise and Ortiz has started every game at 1B and Napoli DH's. Anyone to fix this as the CPU controls them? Not to mention he's made a couple unreal plays over there...

Is there anyway (maybe a hidden way?) to get a 12-letter last name on my RTTS player?

I have a game coming up in AA, versus a pitcher with the last name THEOFANOPOLOUS.

If not, I hope we can get a 12 character last name in The Show 14!

Hey guys, tried searching the thread but couldn't come up with much.

I'm just wondering exactly what potential does? Is it basically a projection for how high your players ratings ceiling is? Or does it also signify how quickly a player will develop?

Sorry if this has already been answered, but does anyone know if there is a way to disable the CPU automatically changing my 25 man rosters once I leave spring training? Obviously there are more guys on the spring training roster, but I would rather be able to select the filler guys for the rest of the MLB/AAA squads myself instead of the CPU doing it to fill a need and risk losing someone to waivers. Thanks!

I have a quick question for everyone. I am currently playing Franchise mode as the Astros, trying to make them good lol, I've edited a few of my players for apperance sake, but the changes do not show up in the games that I play. I am wondering if I'm missing something or what.

For example, I don't want my starting right fielder to have a chubby face so I change it, give him a beard, those changes don't reflect even after I save my franchise. Am I slow or something??

Is there a way to keep the CPU from making pitching changes for me while Fast Forwarding a half inning? It's frustrating. Not only do they bring in someone, but they usually don't even use a player I've been warming up in the pen.

Is it possible to play just on offense, but manage the pitching staff without playing? I'm trying to play as many games as possible and I suck at pitching anyway (in the process of finding CPU v CPU sliders to apply for HUM pitching and CPU hitting), plus my new controller isn't smooth with the left analog for some reason. Any help is appreciated!

Gotta question. My brother and I want to share a franchise on the Cloud. We've set it up, I've downloaded it, but the user settings are set to mine. I want the franchise specific user settings that were set up at his place. Any way of doing this?

For some reason I cannot manually injure players such as Braun. I have injuries to manual in mode settings and user setting associates to all teams but when I go to a teams disabled list I cannot press r1 to manage injuries as the option does not even appear...

Have the profile that has manual injuries that you have associated with the teams "loaded" on the USER SETTINGS screen(you'll see it on top) and hit USE AS DEFAULT.

How can I edit a player's potential? This isn't in franchise mode, just in the main menus. This is Show 12 btw.

The only way to edit a players potential is to import a player from the Player Vault that has the potential you want, and put it over the created player you want to edit. You can't do that with the SCEA players, just made-up ones. You'll have to go to Roster Control to do this.

You can overwrite any player.
BUT...you cannot export any real players....so there is no exporting/importing them. Overwrite them and they are gone.

JUST A GUESS!....
It would be easier.....but I'm guessing that the progression regression is "hard coded"(albeit there are different levels within each letter) for each letter.
Rather than having to change all the code....they went with the easier route and gave us export/import.

I don't think they ever meant it for MLB players(and I'm not sure why they won't allow us to export real players....I did ask at one time, but I can't remember what the reason was)
