I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but is the Opening Day glitch present in year 2 of Franchise mode? If so, I'd like to prevent it from happening again.

Re: MLB 13 The Show Q & A Thread
Hi,
I wanted to know if you can get the updated rosters with accurate minor league rosters at the same time. For example, can you get the roster taht was updated August 19th and have accurate minor league roster with it. I have the osfm opening day minor league rosters and i wish that i could put those minor league players into the updated rosters. ThanksComment

You'd have to export all the created minor league players and import them onto the 8/19 update.
If you did that though....KUDOS.

MLB 13 The Show Q & A Thread
Whenever I go into a online game lobby and next to the names it would show either a R for rookie, a V for veteran, an A for All Star, an H for Hall of Fame, or an L for Legend. Can anyone tell me how to change my icon from rookie to veteran?Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show Q & A Thread
It's based on ratings, so you cannot physically go and change it. It will only change by playing more games and increasing your rating.
The rating system breaks down something like this:
Rookie 0 - 499
Veteran 500 - 1399
All star 1400 - 1749
Hof 1750 - 1999
Legend 2000 plusLast edited by nemesis04; 08-27-2013, 07:07 PM.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show Q & A Thread
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with the roster lists and calendar in the game? Whenever I attempt to look at them the cursor goes crazy as though I'm holding down a button on the d-pad, but I'm not. It's impossible to select a day on the calendar or alter a roster in any way as it just flicks quickly from month to month. Thought it may be a problem with my controller but it works fine with every other game. Many thanks for any help. Really wish I could just play the game.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show Q & A Thread
Do the fielding sliders only work on the user side in MLB 12? I have about 3 times as many errors as the computer in my Padres franchise. I have had several multi error games and the cpu has had 1. It seems like their defense is faster (especially when the animation kicks in).PSN:BrrbisBrrComment

Re: MLB 13 The Show Q & A Thread
Sorry if this question was already asked, but I always wanted to know the answer. When hitting a homerun, does the game determine that it will be a homerun wherever it is hit or does it truly depend on the ballpark size.I know what I'm saying may be tough to understand, but here's an example:I'm playing in Yankee Stadium. I hit a homerun that just barely gets over the wall in right field. Now, if I were playing in a ballpark with a deeper right field, would that ball be caught? Or does the game predetermine whether it will be a homerun or not right off the bat?If I'm playing in Citi Field and I constantly fly out the the "Mo Zone" (the indent in right field), would those all be homeruns in Yankee Stadium or would those hit balls result in fly outs there, too?Comment

The game only knows it's a homerun when the distance is factored and then compares it to park dimensions.
