Any news on custom player animations or celebrations that may have been added to MLB 13? I remember back in November or December, a big thread was created by game developers asking us to post videos of players who do specific celebrations or mannerisms in certain situations, and I was just curious if any of them actually made the game?

Does the crowd ever actually settle in to a game? I am still yet to see the crowd all sit down and settle down for more than one out. It is something that will annoy me actually because the crowd in last years game was fine. And in real baseball i have also never seen a crowd be that jumpy ever.. not opening day or playoffs.

Do you notice this in a regular season game, say game #24?
I've heard the crowd is too overzealous now despite the score or ramifications.

We usually have annual co-op matches during CD. Everything was smooth as usual. It is definitely a very fun part of the week; it can get heated at times! j/k. We have built up some good rivalries though.

Not sure how familiar you are with the mode, but: Yes, you can choose what positions you want to play, or you can alternate by inning. Your positions are indicated by different color player indicators. You can also have different settings for different users, on the same team... from batting camera to difficulty to controls. Even with that, it all played seamlessly.

Are you able to play co-op in franchise this year? I know they said they couldn't squeeze it in last year, but they wanted to try to make it available this year.

Hey, new to the forums, first MLB the show since 06 and 07 on PS2.

I was just wondering if I need a constant Internet connection to play the game? I have a camping trip planned for spring break but there will also be a tv, so ill be bringing my ps3 and the show.

I don't have a problem installing or anything like that, but is the game like 2k13 where if I start a Rtts while connected online it'll change if I start playing offline?

How about franchise?

Or will I not be affected online or off after I install the game?

With the new throwing meter, do you guys notice a difference between good and poor fielders?
Is it slower for better more accurate arms?

Yes, there is a difference between fielders. The size of the "sweet spot" depends on the fielder's rating... also, the meter is dynamic, meaning you will see subtle shifts in the zones depending on your approach angle and/or momentum, making off balanced throws slightly more difficult.

Edit: I believe the speed of the meter is dependent on difficulty level.

Just skimming the thread so not sure if this has been answered or not... but what changes have been made to the RTTS Catcher mode?

Is there a different camera available finally? And have they done anything to liven up the position a bit?

In the menus, are there still radio broadcast clips? if so, can anyone name any of the clips?(like maybe Matt Cains 27th out for the perfect game, for example)

I don't think you will have to unless you want to FLOOD the market. In the sims we did guys like Granderson hit the market and switched teams. When I get the game I am going to mess around with it and look and see how it looks.
