I agree with you. It's honestly embarrassing to have this issue with the game. It feels like I flushed $65 down the toilet. I thought EA especially Madden had zero quality control but this takes the cake.

What makes everyone so confident that this will be patched?

Well, something can always be done to at least minimize these issues once they are logged and tagged. Optimization can easily fix things like this but again they have to find the problem first. If they didn't see this in their QA then honestly I don't have any idea what is going on. They had to see it. It's the part that this could just be their engine buckling that scares me.

If that was the case and the game was buckling we would have seen it at CD and there was not even a hint of it.

SCEA's track record with these types of things.

If that was the case and the game was buckling we would have seen it at CD and there was not even a hint of it.

True. That's why I suspect it actually a case of pushing the hardware to it's limit. Right at that threshold, so to speak... thus not everyone is seeing it.

I would have to think SCEA is working hard on patching this issue.
I'm also hoping that a rep from SCEA makes a statement soon.
My 3rd and final game of last night was so bad, there's no way I can keep playing this game if the same volume of stuttering persists. It's unplayable.
I have a very short window where I can return this game for full credit, so unless I hear an official update within the next 48-hours, I may be forced to return the game. And I don't want to do that.

Is it every team... every stadium? Could it be some animation in the stadium triggering it? I wonder this because the only place I notice it otherwise is in the transition animations.

Maybe it has to do with the batter?

Has anyone noticed it happening with specific batters or not happening with certain batters? It does seem to happen as the batter is striding as well as the pitcher releasing the pitch.

Thanks for the reply, we were waiting for this.

Please do something with it. I don't care if you disable features like the +XP thing, that tracks what you are doing, or you downgrade some textures, but we need this game super smooth, like it was in the past. Unlike that it's pretty unplayable.

For a lot of us, this is the only game we play throughout the year. If you can't fix this, it will be a pretty boring year.

Last year, when my RedSox were loosing badly, I played the Show to experience some real baseball...

I have my HDMI set to full. I don't know if that would help you guys but I havent experienced any stuttering with that setting.

I have only experienced the stuttering three times. I haven't had any stuttering at all in the last couple of games I have played.

I was having a huge problem with the stuttering, probably 2 out of every 5 pitches, but then I was messing around with the sliders and I upped the pitch speed to 7 and I havent experienced any stuttering at all. Might just be a glitch with the pitch speed.

I am using broadcast cam and do not notice any stuttering. Has anyone that is experiencing stutter tried a different camera angle? Maybe its just on the default camera?

I've seen one per game so far in 13, which I can put up with for now (so long as it doesn't get worse).
