i have found that only time i have experienced the hiccup issue was when i was playing day games... night games don't seem to have the issue as much.

Day games and Clear i should say... but this is still just a sample size of 10 games, 2 of which were hiccups (both against the Rockies during the day)

I just played a night game Texas @ Boston and it happened 4 times. Really annoying.

It will be almost impossible to sell the game once the word gets out that the game is defective.

Go to sliders and adjust the pitch speed. I put it at 7 and haven't had any glitch problems. When it was set at 5 I was getting probably 2 out of every 5 pitches had that problem. Now there is none.

Just something I want to put out there about the stuttering problem. I have not read through this whole thread so I don't know if it was brought up, but how many of the people having this problem have upgraded their hard drives? I had this problem with The Show 11 and then it started happening in Madden 12 when I snapped the ball. After doing a little research about it, I found that it was the hard drive causing the problem. I had an 80GB PS3 and put a 500GB hard drive in. Put the old one back in and never had a problem again. Just a possibility, hope it helps.

Thanks I'm going to try this, I was starting to feel like it was too slow at 5 anyway so this gives me some motivation to do so.


Edit-Didn't work, stuttered twice in one at bat an inning later.

As I said in another thread. I am done with this game until they can fix this, it is in the box and will not be touched. What is the point in playing a baseball game if the hitting is screwed up. If I had have known it was that bad wouldn't have bought the game to begin with. It is unacceptable to charge 60 dollars and release something that doesn't work. Who cares how good a game looks if you can't play it. And that is what this game is, unplayable.

Except they did test it in house and there was no stutter for them so how could they know there would be upon release day? Trick question they wouldn't have known because there are too many variables for the stutter as you can plainly see in this thread..

Ill trade someone my stutter free game for one with a little stutter but can get more than 4 hits a game.

Then sell it now and be done with it. You are obviously pissed off about the situation and the lack of QA that you say SCEA has. Coming here and telling us every few posts that it is a defective product does not help the situation at all. The situation is unfortunate but it is being looked at, it happens.

Is there any type of consensus that the stuttering is not related to the 10 gig or 5 gig install?

Saw the stutter as the pitch was coming out of the pitchers hand. Really screwed up hitting for me so I disabled internet to my PS3 and stutter free since.

I saw my first stutter as well it only happened once in the game I was playing but did screw me up on my swing.

I never play The Show without disconnecting to psn. I feel like that it is why I have been lucky when it comes to this issue.

Okay downloaded the game at midnight release. When I first played it, there was stutter. But was connected to PSN. But since I read about the issue, I just unplugged my cable from the back. Haven't had any stutter since.

Since I got that stutter during a pitch once, yesterday, I haven't seen it a single time.
This thing just continues to get weirder and weirder.
