Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread

    Guys, I need help.

I'm in my second year in RTTS, being a 3B MLB bench player for the Miami Marlins.

The thing is, I don't get at bats! We're in June and I having only 25 ABs, hitting .375 with 1 HR and 7 RBIs. This is killing my chances to get experience points, and as a result, I'm failing almost all of my trainings.

I've complained to the manager in the interactions menu countless times, and he always says that someone is better than me and he can't find a place in the line up.

Is there a way I can force a trade, or even get back to AAA?

I remember in last years, if you didn't complete your advancement goals, they'd send you down to the minors.

The Mets are in the playoffs! I never thought being drafted by my real life favorite teams rival would be so fun! With the ace pitching of myself, Matt Harvey (who came in second behind Matt Cain for the Cy Young) and Shawn Marcum, we took the Mets to 90-72 and finished tied for the wild card spots and one game behind the Nationals in the East!

I was called up after an injury, however if you fail a set of goals and achieve a set of goals you could probably stick down there.

The camera has made it a little difficult to follow the action when a ball is in play & so far the running seems a bit clumsy. I'm gonna charge on and hopefully all the new changes grow on me, but so far I'm a bit under whelmed with Rtts this go around
Minors are quiet as it would be IRL, in the majors is where all the noise happens. Trust me when I say that it's whole different atmosphere to play in the majors.

You either love it or hate it, personally I kinda find it unsettling that that everyone expects options just because they have provided them before. Not everything needs an option and they had no intention to have RTTS with complete commentary this year. That said I wouldn't care nor mind if they added the option for commentary next year.

Can't believe I lost my rtts 12,000 points voucher. But bout to start me a 3rd or 2nd basemen

Finally traded from the Mets! After taking them to the World Series a couple years prior, my two time Cy Young winning 99 overall 23 year old has been traded to the Red Sox, and they are stacked! I look forward to play on a big name contender!

I'm a 19 year old speedy contact hitting second basemen drafted by the Orioles

Through one month of play at the AA level this is what my numbers look like

                  15 games
                  21 for 62
                  .339 average, 0 HR, 6 RBI

I'm liking RTTS this year way better than years past. Hopefully I get moved to the Triple-A level soon enough! more updates coming after May!

I had the same problem in MLB 12. Guy was stuck riding the Dodgers bench. Finally after the all-star game they traded me. I'd rather play in AAA making my player better than a few AB's once in a while.

any one else's PCI getting smaller? I've moved up to the MLB and in AAA and my PCI was huge in the MLB it's half of that.
