Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
If he's playing realistically, there's 0 chance Pittsburgh gives up Alvarez, and especially not for anything that doesn't involve Garza."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Very true. I looked at his value on the spreadsheet just now. I would take a lot to get him.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I think that's too much for Soriano. I think the Yanks are kinda doing the Cubs a favor by taking on that contract. Probably more like 2 Mid-C prospects. He's not worth a whole lot.
I know you said you were looking for a hard throwing reliever with options left. What about Tommy Hunter on the O's. Has options left and although in game he doesn't throw hard, at the end of last season, he was throwing 96-98 out of the pen, so it isn't too unrealistic to beef up his fastball velocity a little.Comment

So I'm thinking of choosing the Brew Crew in my franchise. But not a big fan of Braun. What do you think I should be able to get in return for him?Comment

I've thought about Hunter, yeah. I got to see him a couple times. Even got a picture with him.The guy can definitely chuck. What's a fair return for him considering positional needs? The spreadsheet has him at low C, so I'm thinking Hunter for Moises Sierra or Chris Hawkins could work.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hey there guys, just finished telling my friend who I'm doing my chise with how good of a job you guys do and now he wants me to post in here for him haha
He's the orioles and really stinks up the place (we sim a lot of games, even back in the show) and hes currently at the allstar break like 20 games under. Needless to say he's rebuilding.
Already shipped off J.J. Hardy, he's looking for young solid talent and looking to get rid of some of the older guys.
Main Positions hes looking for: RP, SS, LF, 2B .
He said nobody on the roster is safe except for the obvious (Jones, Machado, Johnson, etc.) I know I'm not being too specific but if you could give me some teams for him to look at for those 4 specific positions, that'd be great! We'd both really appreciate itComment

A LOT. If I were you, I'd check the spreadsheet in the first post. Press CTRL + F and search "Braun.""Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
With the Mariners, I think you could get either Walker/Paxton, Zanino, and a few high to mid B's.
With the Cubs, Soler's in player, Jackson. Idk, you'd have to look because Im not too familiar with the Cubs system but I know they have a lot of prospects.
I think 2 high, high A's is appropriate along with another low A or high B and a mid to high B. In total 4 prospects.Comment

You should also look at getting rid of Markakis and Chris Davis.Comment
