I'm still concerned that's it's only 15 games. Ya, he's doing jack****, but this is the guy they want to do good. Personally, I'd leave him there and wait and see for a month. If he's still doing that bad, to for it.

I am surprised that Marder's up. Franklin got passed up?

      Thanks.

      1 more trade question.

Triunfel (67 A) and Noesi (76 C) to the Braves for Uggla (81 B). Hudson is 1-8, and the Braves #5 SP is rookie D. Hale who is 0-3 since being called up to replace Malhom who is on the DL.

Braves are probably out of it at 24-35 they are 12.5 back of the Nats.

Uggla however is batting .280 with 13 HR. Triunfel and Noesi's stats are mostly AAA for me.

      Also including Harang (71 B) who I can't pitch with (0-2 11.32 ERA)

I would then flip Uggla and OF Leon Landry (65 C) batting .357 in AA and a former 3rd round pick by the Dodgers (acquired in the League trade)

back to the Dodgers for A. Either (87 B) batting .230 8 HR, and N. Punto batting .257 in a reserve role)

LA would obviously call up Puig who is tearing up AAA, Uggla would become everyday 2B and Ellis would take Punto role on the bench.

Landry would replace Puig in AAA.

Either would become my every day LF or RF and Punto would take Triunfel spot as the bench utility guy.

I can definitely see where you're coming from. 15 games is a little quick to jump ship, especially with a guy like Ackley. I mean Ike Davis has hit .160 for 50 games and he's still getting the benefit of the doubt... however I'm not really sure how the Mets depth is at 1B. (I would assume it's not nearly as deep as the Mariners MIF.)

Yeah it's the CPU's logic I guess. But Ackley has consistently underperformed and has replacements readily available.

Waaaaaaay too much for Uggla, Triunfel >>> Uggla.

          To Seattle: Ethier
          To Atlanta: Paxton
          To Dodgers: Uggla

And you can add in extraneous parts like Punto where needed.

Ya, I know. But they wouldn't give up on a first round pick this quickly

3 years of sub-par production isn't really that quickly.

Just saw this. If Nick Franklin continues to play well I think Ackley is a realistic option for sure! I see no issue with this deal.

I disagree. 1 year sub-par last year, but I'll take a .273 average from a second baseman. And fifteen games is too early to tell if it'll end bad

Guys, I need help defining a spreadsheet value for Yovani Gallardo. What do you guys think? I think two high B's should suffice, no?

Given the Kinsler trade I posted earlier, is Kolten Wong a reasonable/realistic option, or is that just absurd?

His first year wasn't really all that good, he showed a concerning K-rate and was fairly BABIP-fueled. .337 wOBA isn't very good.

Just looked it up. Yep, your right. Ugh, ya I guess it's alright. Geez that BABIP helped him out

.340 BABIP for Ackley probably won't be a career mean lol.

Can't wait to go through with this, though. No more Bonifacio every day!

Alright AC, I need some help. I'm in mid-May right now and Brothers has struggled mightily and I've had to send him down. Any ideas on a Frieri-esque trade for a lefty reliever?

What if I got a young pitcher back in the deal like RHP M. Carbera (65 B). He is a 19 yr Dom Rebuplic kid pitching in A. or 18 yr old LHP L.Mergo (60 C) and maybe another C rated RP

With my current rotation, I rather deal them Noesi and Harang for MLB ready SP for them and keep Paxton in AAA for me or available for future trading.
