Yes it's basically Santana/Harrell for Parra and DeShields for Corbin

Not really a trade but Descalso is out for a month or 2 and I don't have a decent utility infielder in the minors. Would it be realistic to pick up Orlando Hudson from FA before exploring a trade.. It's still April.

Why not. He is old but since its April and for only a month it would work. Not sure how much he wants but he should be cheap.

Filling a specific need like that through trade in April wouldn't be a bad thing. Cody Ransom of the Padres or Jerry Hairston from the Dodgers?

Love the "Come on son, don't even bother" comments!

Some guys are starting to hit the trade block in my franchise so this can come in handy for ideas on what to offer that's not ripping off - not that the Nats have a lot of prospects...

Hey guys! I just got June in my Yankees Franchise and I'm looking to either get rid of Kevin Youkilis (.253avg, 6hr, 19rbi) and/or Lyle Overbay (.244avg, 11hr, 19rbi). What do you guys think I can do or receive for them?

I don't realistically see Skaggs, Bradley, Corbin or Delgado going to Houston. They really don't have any prospects that would wow them enough to give up Skaggs or Bradley. I don't think 3B is a particularly pressing need with Prado's extension and Matt Davidson looking like he can man the 3B position in the future.

So for Parra, I like Santana and Harrell because the Dbacks love their Sinkerballers...

Now that I think of it... Parra and Corbin for Delino DeShields Jr, Santana and maybe Harrell? I don't know how highly the Astros value Deshields. Maybe you can replace Santana with a lower prospect but I think DeShields would have to be in a deal for Parra and Corbin.

Totte what do you think?

In my defense I dealt for Corbin when he was still 7 or 8 on the Snakes' SP depth chart...before the season. It's worked out well with him winning the AL Cy in my 'chise and being a contender for the NL Cy irl.

Overbay is not worth anything at this point. In my opinion, neither is Youkilis. If there is a contender who has a gaping hole at 3B, Youk could get you a high C, but that's it.

Thanks for the replies. I might just wait a bit longer to see what teams need a 3B and then just release Overbay if anything.
