It's getting close to the deadline in my franchise with the Yankees, and I was wondering what it would take to get Cespedes away from the A's? They are over 15 games back. It's not very realistic, but what would be fair?

Cespedes has been struggling all year long. He's batting .239 with 15 homers and 48 rbis.

In my A's Franchise, 4 days before the July 31st deadline and I am in 1st by 5 games. Eric Sogard has been tearing the cover off the ball, but I'd like to move Jed Lowrie to 2B and trade for Oakland-native, Jimmy Rollins. DO NOT want to give up Addison Russell, as J-Roll is probably a rent-a-player for my playoff push. Would you think one of Sonny Gray, Werner, or Straily? (PLEASE NOTE) these are with the OS Re-Rated rosters that were posted about a week ago.

Also, in the offseason I want to flip Grant Balfour (much like the A's do IRL) for a OF like Nimmo or Puello from the Mets.

Thoughts? Really enjoyed scouring through this thread.

I'd rank them Straily, Gray, Werner in preference for the A's. Give them Straily and Jemile Weeks (who can fill in after Utley leaves) for J-Roll. Guess it sort of depends on what number Rollins is putting up but I'd do that deal if I were Ruben Amaro

Don't know the Yankees system that well but Gary Sanchez plus Mason Williams/Slade Heathcott/Dante Bichette Jr plus a pitcher with nice upside that's still fairly young

Two questions:

What are Simmons's and Teheran's service times? Simmons's contract?

And what were Brown's numbers the season before?

Simmons Service Time: 2.125, 761K for 1 year.
Teheran Service Time: 1.147, 490 for 1 year.

Dom Brown Stats: .299/ 23 homers and 75 rbi's

I'm not sure about this but I'm just gonna throw it out there:

Michael Pineda, Mason Williams and Manny Banuelos/Slade Heathcott for Yoenis Cespedes. I might be biased after watching the home run derby though

From a pure talent standpoint, that trade is fine but from a financial standpoint... I'm not sure. 7 million is a lot to take on and Simmons is their SS of the future. You can take out Simmons and probably throw in an A prospect instead. I think this would actually be more realistic because the Braves could keep Simmons an not make another hole.

Teheran+ A prospect+ that CP for Altuve and Lyles

As for Brown, take out Grossman and Wright and give them another high B prospect

But on the Braves they have a 84 OVR 25 yrar old 2nd baseman that is just as good at SS and he is a mid B. They can move him to SS if I trade them Altuve.

Rollins: (59 Games) He was on the DL w/ Ankle Injury
.270 7 HR 20 RBI 9 SB

Straily: (3 MLB Starts)
2-1 3.53 ERA 13 K 6 BB

Werner: MiLB Stats
6-4 3.66 ERA 73 K 34 BB

Gray: MiLB Stats
3-5 3.10 ERA 47 K 19 BB
(Had him in the Bullpen up in MLB since June 8th)

Ok I like the Brown deal.

Dang, I really wanted Simmons. I want to trade Altuve and get back someone similiar to Simmons (Good fielder, pretty good hitter, and young) any ideas? Recommend middle infielder to take Altuve's spot.

Also I still want to trade Lyles to the Braves for Teheran. Could I get someone else with teheran or would it be Lyles for Teheran straight up?

Ben Revere? The Royals have quite a few young hitters that are decent at defense at both the major league level and the minor league level so I'd recommend checking them out.
