Ehh. I think we should take it on a case-by-case basis, although I'm not sure how that would work... this is a tough issue that I'd like NFG or Knott's input on

We'll go ahead and commit to the Butler deal. Both sides are getting a decent haul.

We're well aware of the talent that Raul's kid posses. He is incredibly talented and some feel his ceiling is higher than that of Bubba's. We would be willing to part with Orlando and potentially Gallagher. I'm not sure we would part with Cuthbert who some say has more potential than moose. As for Adam wee envision him as a key workhorse in our rotation and want to see him in the upper minors before we make a better decision on him.

I'd like to rep the Padres. I'm sure things will get lost in the shuffle when the thread takes off so PM me please and let me know you are striking up a trade.

i wudd suggest that guys rep a team that they're extensively familiar with (majors AND minors), preferably their favorite team not necessarily who their 'chising with.....as for this current issue, if we dont have a rep for a specific team, i'd probably take it to the official trade thread to get ur trade analyzed faster...i wudd stray away from folks *cross-repping* other teams as it did cause major chaos/confusion last year

              Good to hear.

What about Sam Selman or Kyle Smith? If possible, we'd like a pitching prospect back for him.

We aren't willing to part with Selman or Smith because they both have tremendous potential and have given us some fairly lofty numbers recently.

Basically, right now we're willing to part with Tim Melville, a power right handed arm who could easily front a rotation if he figures it out, Sugar Ray Marimon, who would instantly be the best name in any organization or potentially Felipe Paulino who seems to have finally figured it out.

To be honest, we are short on good arms in our minor league system and we're reluctant to part with arms who still project to be valuable for our ball club.

None of those prospects particularly interest us, no matter how amazing their names are. Would you be amendable to a Mark for Aaron Crow swap? We are also willing to include reliever Brad Lincoln in a trade.

As intriguing as a Crow for Mark sounds, we are currently weighing our options with Crow. However, we'd be willing to consider trading Greg Holland and potentially some spare parts.

At this point really, we're only really willing to trade position player prospects unless someone blows us away with an offer.

It depends on what those spare parts are... I'm thinking, Holland, Cam Gallagher, and something else for Mark. I like the sound of that. Holland was actually a trade target for us a couple years back. What kind of something else would you be open to?

Yeah we'd be open to Holland, Gallagher as for the third piece, how would like an Everett Teaford, Bruce Chen or Chris Getz type player be?

We'd honestly prefer the final piece to be minor league depth with options or a prospect, as opposed to someone like Chen, who's in all honesty pretty terrible.

I understand. Would Chris Getz interest you? He has options remaining and will give be solid for a whole season if he's healthy which all signs point to him having a healthy year. He's a decent contact hitter with some good speed.
