        I'm in September 8 or 9 in my Rays franchise. The mark is down to 2.0GB of the division leader Blue Jays. This season is the most tougher one I've seen in the whole series.

        I was rolling with a 22 game winning streak (all star settings,A&S sliders by the way.. no cheating) and I'm STILL out of the playoffs if the season ends today. Two games back of the division leader, 3.0 behind the two wildcard teams (A's and Rangers)

        Wil Myers got called up on July 19th and he is already the most likely RoY winner (.474, 25 HR, 56 RBI) I dont know if its a bug or something but he is killing it

                    So two things happened to me for the first time:

                    Seattle hit a grand slam. Then:

                    I had Cano on 2nd, Tex on 1st, and Beltran at the plate on a 3-2 count. I knew i'd make contact at the minimum and Beltran is off to an awful start. I ran a double steal to hopefully avoid the double play. Line drive to 2B, but because of the steal the 2B was there and caught it, tagged 2nd and threw to first. First time ever getting triple played.

                        I managed to get past them just fine with OAK, but I had to REALLY mix up my pitching strategy. The CPU picks up on patterns, and if bats like theirs get ahold of your pitches you're toast.

                        So I would make sure to pitch a player differently each time out, like pitching them backward first, working exclusively in, then out, etc. That's the only way to go. And then you just have to pitch to contact with the bottom of the order so you save your pitch count. Beware of Gorgeous Peter Bourjous, though--he's got sneaky power.

                            I'm 9-10 in year 3 of my Astros chise. I was playing the Red Sox earlier and pulled off a triple play. Craziest thing I have ever done in the show!

                            My lineup looks like this:

                                Not as bad as that but at one point in my Yankees franchise they won 19 games in a row. I got swept by them as well when I visited Anaheim. I had the lead in all the games but couldnt manage to hold onto the lead and that led to my demise. They are really good in the game.

                                    Just started a 30 team franchise using osfm o.d roster and decided to sim up until today,s date and then pick a team who is in the hunt and to my pleasant surprise as of July 30th 2013 the Chicago Cubs are leading the wildcard by 0.5 ahead of Atlanta and NYM at 58-47 so I am going to take over playing on HOF pure analog everything default sliders except I turn injuries and. errors up . This is going to be awesome trying to take a bunch of rookies(cubbies) who are just having fun playing small balland putting history behind them saying maybe the Mayans are right its the ending of the old world the curse is being lifted! Let the nrw world begin

                                        Well, I finally lost my first game in my Toronto Blue Jays franchise. Max Scherzer just owned me; I couldn't pick up his pitches at all, struck out 14 times and lost 8-1.

                                        Due to work and a move, I haven't been able to play much recently, which is a bummer because I was finally starting to get into a groove in terms of timing at the plate. I feel like I have to start back from square one now with that, so I'm expecting my offensive numbers to slide a bit while I re-adjust.

                                            My last 6 games have basically alternated between getting shut out, and blowing out the opposing team. All these games were played over a day and a half, so it isn't like I was rusty for the games I couldn't hit - they were just great pitching performances by guys like Price and I think the Oakland pitcher that shut me out was Anderson. In 3 losses, I gave up a combined 4 runs! Pretty frustrating to lose games where only giving up a run, but overall it adds to the game's mystique knowing on any given game you can be completely shut down.

                                            In between, however, were games where the opposing pitcher just couldn't get me out. The last game on the list is 10-8 through only 6 innings...who knows where that barn-burner will end up.

                                                My last 6 games have basically alternated between getting shut out, and blowing out the opposing team. All these games were played over a day and a half, so it isn't like I was rusty for the games I couldn't hit - they were just great pitching performances by guys like Price and I think the Oakland pitcher that shut me out was Anderson. In 3 losses, I gave up a combined 4 runs! Pretty frustrating to lose games where only giving up a run, but overall it adds to the game's mystique knowing on any given game you can be completely shut down.

                                                In between, however, were games where the opposing pitcher just couldn't get me out. The last game on the list is 10-8 through only 6 innings...who knows where that barn-burner will end up.

                                                    No "branded" sliders. I'm on All Star difficulty both for hitting and pitching, and I've adjusted my sliders to get me realistic results. I track stats and tweak from time to time to bring the results back to a more realistic representation if they start to get a little out of whack (e.g. the more I play, the better I hit, so I'll dynamically tweak sliders through the course of the season periodically).

                                                    I forgot to mention - of those results I posted above, there were no slider tweaks that would have resulted in the huge disparity from game to game.

                                                            Have a little laugh at my expense... I'm the Jays in my season, 4 games up on Boston in the AL East. My record against the Astros so far? 1-4 and a run differential of -22.

                                                            I just got 2 hit by Alex Cobb...but at least it was a respectable loss, only 2-0. One game they blew me out 13-2.
