How does it mess things up?

if you sim ST young guys will jump up like crazy and older guys will fall like crazy. Once you get so far in league you will have 26 y/o dropping like flies cause the new draftees will be jumping like crazy. Simming ST is basically simming a full year. So if you sim ST and then sim year you are making guys basically 2 yrs older. So guys will start dropping at 26, 27 area instead of 30's

I think this might confuse some people.

Press END SPRING TRAINING every year. What he means by simming is going to the calender and pressing Sim through date. Don't do that.

Completed my first season with the Astros, finished 69-93, last in the division, and 3rd worst record overall... This is gonna be a tough rebuild!

I only had 5 players hit over .250! 3 of which I brought to the team. Jim Thome enjoyed a good season with 26 HR's and 91 RBI's. if Thome doesn't retire, I plan to bring him back, as he's the only player selling tickets for me. Brandon Inge also enjoyed a decent season hitting for .259 with 15 HR's and 65 RBI's.

          AL MVP:
          Miguel Cabrera - .340, 54 HR, 158 RBI

          NL MVP:
          Ike Davis - .330, 44 HR, 116 RBI

Detroit advanced to the World Series by once again sweeping the Yankees to face the Reds, where Detroit ended up winning the World Series in game 6 at home.

Meanwhile, my budget increased by 10%! This will definitely help.

Will update again after the Off Season.

I play MLB exclusively with my cousin. Usually looking for info on Franchises. We played minor league baseball as 9-10 YOs on the Zephyrs.

Well, only 1 decent pick up in FA. Carlos Beltran was the premier FA, and I made a modest run at him but wasn't willing to spend the money that the bidding war commanded.

So I signed Jobs Chamberlain to a 5 year deal worth $5.5m. Maybe a little overpaid, but I needed a reliable arm in the bullpen. Also brought in a few minor leaguers I hope to develop. Selected 4 players in the Rule 5 draft, 2 of which will be primary starters (RP and a C). Also took a 1B in the draft that has superb contact against lefties.

              Here's my lineups for 2014.
              Righties:
              2B Jose Altuve
              1B Chris McGuiness
              SS John Doe
              C Angelo Hidalgo
              CF Carlos Gomez
              DH David Dejesus
              RF Fernando Martinez
              LF JD Martinez
              3B Jonathan Villar

              Lefties:
              2B Jose Altuve
              1B Chris McGuiness
              SS John Doe

              LF JD Martinez
              RF Fernando Martinez
              3B Jonathan Villar
              DH Josh Prince
              CF Carlos Gomez

I had to let him walk, his performance were nowhere near what he was asking. Then the rule 5 draft came and I picked up Chris McGuiness who is younger, similar potential, and a much better hitter.

Liking the 2 rule 5 picks also. Jus the idea of them being on a hotseat makes every ab And defensive oppOrtunity thrilling. And for me that's a completely new feel for a cHise. All looks like good moves. Textbook.

First off, you did a lot of rebuilding the major league roster. Only 3 original players.

Secondly, in your post earlier, Miguel cabrera hit 158 rbis! Holy moly, so i'm guessing he won the triple crown?

Started a franchise with the Bronx Bombers. So far Granderson and Cano are leading the offense. Have a 6 game winning streak so far. About to start a series with the O's. Will have to play with the Captain for 2-3 months with a dislocated shoulder. Jeter hurt himself swinging the bat.

I loved my fantasy team that I created but I think I am going to not play it anymore. I am waiting for the osfm roster to start a astros franchise so I don't want to be burnt out before starting that's. I may play a little rtts to pass the time.
I am already thinking of the strategy I am going to use in my astros franchise to rebuild

                          A had to report this..

Got done with an epic, 5 hour, 22 inning game in Indianapolis. I have a franchise with the Louisville Bats (AAA). First pitch was at midnight (typically take 2 hours) Played 5 hours, and then LOST. 5-4.

Very depressing feeling. Especially when it has you going to sleep at almost 6 AM, having to be at work at 8AM.

                            TIGERS.
Think about it. no rebuilding necessary, like the other teams need.

I had a fantasy draft with the classic chicago cubs.

picked up mike trout, bryce harper, roy halladay, ortiz, r.a. dickey, jeter, uggla, petitte, michael young, russell martin(splits time with the older molina), and edwin jackson and drew smyley closing out the rotation. I had volquez in there but switched him with smyly, he gave up too many homeruns. I drafted rivera as a closer. I played my first game and noticed I was the 1st overall team. I play on allstar.

At the end of april I decided I wanted to get younger, so I traded rivera and michael young for edwin encarnacion. Carter Capps is my new closer that I had starting in the bullpen, he is a hard throwing rookie. I am 5 games up in the NL central after april. I am just passing time until the opening day rosters come out so I can start my Tigers chise.

Also, Harper is leading the league in homeruns with 14.
I picked up jason giambi and he still has some pop in his bat as well.

My lineup is just god awful against southpaws
