I apologize if I upset you. I always reserve the right to eat my words after all we are not gms or scouts. Which is also why I avoid speaking definitively ab a player. Our convo made those 2 blasts much more enjoyable. I thank you for that and encourage you to call me out on my predictions and critique them so hopefully I get better.

Well, the point is, how can you make any judgements based on one game? What did Pujols, Hamilton and Trout do that day? The only one to get a hit was Trout. Harper was facing Nolasco and Angels were facing, in my opinion, a better pitcher in Cueto, who, except for Pujols, they probably hadn't seen before.

Kershaw is under-rated in this game regarding HR/9, and stamina, and control. Yes, he is a 99, but I am referring to those attributes I mentioned above.

Can someone direct me too a bug thread. Playing at Petco. The short RF extension. I hit a ball against what looks like a small fence on top of the wall with a yellow line on top of the fence. It went thru the fence and called it a homer.

I mentioned positives the other day, it's only fair to air some grievances:

Commentary. Somehow took a step back from previous years. Too much dead air and I've noticed more errors than ever before when calling the action.

MLB Live. No in-game save option is a real bummer. I have a very limited schedule for gaming and would like to play this mode, but without in-game saves it is not worth it to start a game and know I won't be able to finish it.

The new timing window. I'm not a big fan. Yes, it was tough to hit in 12 but to me also more realistic. With 13 I am just all off. Swings that look dead-on are labeled 'early' or 'way early' and when you look at replays, I just don't see it. So, after 2-3 innings I wait an extra beat and miss pitches with 'late' timing. There's no middle ground I feel like with this game.

Opposite field hits, especially by the CPU, feel overpowered. I've seen a couple of pitches out of the zone get yanked over the RF fence. I can see getting a base hit but a HR? I have to question that a little.

After having played the game a little more now I noticed something is missing or I just haven't seen it yet.

Where are the in game overlays that shows (for example) the current pitcher is the 2nd best strike out pitcher / the batter(s) with the most RBI's / batter(s) with the most doubles that show up in appropriate situations.

I always really liked this overlays but haven't seen them in 13 so far...

This is some sort of competition? Look, players are for the most part not given attributes based on what they might do next year. What Trout and Harper do this year should be reflected in their attributes for MLB The Show 14. The attributes given them in MLB The Show 13 should reflect what they did last year, in my opinion.
