While that may be happening (from both sides of this argument) I think the general statement being made from the "wanting audio side" is just a petition for a choice. I don't think most of the people asking for a choice are trying to say that liking the lack of audio is a bad thing or wrong.

Re: Change New RTTS Presentation
@bobeureally27 You are hugely missing the point. Some of us just want the option to happen next year. We all know it's not impossible to implement. Maybe they will do it, maybe they wont. Regardless of what Ramone said, we should voice our opinion. It's ridiculous to think that Ramone and the rest of the team don't want to know what the community thinks. They want to improve the game with every iteration. We are part of that improvement process.Comment

Re: Change New RTTS Presentation
I honestly think they too out a lot of the commentary in RTTS to make room for some of the other changes. But as a Pitcher, I get commentary after almost ever pitch.Comment

Re: Change New RTTS Presentation
I think the majority of us just want the option to choose for ourselves, same as you. There's really no reason it needs to be one or the other. I really dislike the new presentation, but I do not fault anyone who does like it, and I wouldn't want those people to lose the option to play the way THEY want to. No one is right or wrong to like to play a certain way. I'm only upset because I lost the option to play the way I liked, with full commentary and batter walkups with stat overlays. I'm actually glad that some people do like the new way, it's just not for me and I'd like the developers to give us an option to choose for ourselves next time.Comment

This I can agree with. That sound is irrelevant and unnecessary. However, I'll stop short of saying it's game-breaking. Minor nuisance that I can deal with.Comment

Re: Change New RTTS Presentation
only had time to read the first 15 pages so far. but im disapointed they took out commentary. i liked the feeling of watching a game on tv.
i just dont get the people saying it was stale, and needed a change. they did change it. there is a new commentary team that i will prob never hear 1/3 of because this is the only mode i ever play. i was ready for the new refreshing commentary.
just.......disapointingComment

Re: Change New RTTS Presentation
When I was a kid in the backyard self-hitting wiffleballs up onto the roof of my Dad's house pretending I was in Yankee Stadium and winning the World Series I would always imagine Vin Scully or Mel Allen announcing my walkup and then calling my shot as I rounded the bases in my imagination.
That's why RTTS was always so incredibly awesome. Because it gave you that same exact experience except as an adult. Now that's kind of gone. And it's a huge bummer. Feels so dry to me now. I really wish there was an option.
And seriously, what is up with the radio sounding audio? Is it meant to be a radio broadcast or what?Comment

Re: Change New RTTS Presentation
One time during rtts the game bugged out and the guys were in broadcast mode and I heard them chat the entire game not just after every batter. So it does exist as a bug lol and for the record I support an option to choose to turn broadcast commentary on or off for rtts. It obviously can be an option. Also I hate the "woosh" noise it makes changing cameras back and forth.Last edited by Maligx; 03-15-2013, 03:32 PM.Comment
