My issue is that Rookie analog pitching is too easy (give up 3-4 hits, maybe a run or 2) while Veteran I have a 5.40 ERA at Double A level. I need an in between option!

You can always adjust the sliders or edit the camera and make the pitching meter smaller to increase the difficulty.

Or you can take you knocks, and learn the art of pitching like every other pitcher has since the beginning of time. Not trying to be mean here but that's pitching bro!

Try adjusting sliders. And what exactly is the issue on veteran? Are guys just hitting more home runs, or getting more hits in general? And where are you throwing most of your pitches/what types of pitches are you throwing?

And on another note...anyone else having problem where the feedback of the pitch isn't where you selected it. EX-I move my analog stick back then up and to the left, but then on the analog meter, it'll show the meter halfway to the right.

It doesn't happen all the time, but seems to happen at the randomest of moments. I know not every pitch will be in the location I want it, but the fact that the feedback on the analog meter is like the inverse of the type of pitch I actually threw, seems real random.

I believe this maybe part of the mechanic if you go max effort (up really hard and fast) to use as a pitchers control rating. Like overthrowing a pitch it goes kind of where ever it wants to go.

Yeah, I see that from time-to-time as well.

No, you are right. I kept working at it and now I recently got called up to the Atlanta Braves bullpen (did bullpen and starting duties at Triple A first).

Playing on Veteran is more realistic and challenging, I'm just still struggling a little with pitch location.

Glad you stuck with it my man! Watch more baseball and watch how the pros get it done. How they set guys up with one pitch in order to throw a different one. High fastball so that you can drop a hammer that starts in the same place but ends up falling off the table. Inside to outside all that kind of **** will make you a better pitcher and soon vet won't be hard enough!

I just pitched a game using analog pitching with Mat Latos (not my ace but could be), he ended up walking 4 batters, and had to be pulled after the 6th due to pitch count. I cant remember how many balls he ending up throwing but it was a lot. Although I do have Hum Control and Hum Consistency both on 0.

A lot of times when I pitch my meter will be going the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of where I throw (I go outside left, it will go WAAAAYYYYY outside right, vice versa) or it doesn't even register my throw (I go WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY outside left or right and it goes directly up the middle) Does anyone this happen to anyone else? Does any one know why its happens? I know I'm not gonna hit my spots all the time but it's like what I do on the sticks doesn't register with the meter like 50% of the time... I don't get it
