What you say about the swing pitch info interests me. I think I've noticed it disappears when I return to an in-game save and during a game in which I am not using guess pitch.

Downloaded patch, happy! Tried playing a game, freeze! Not happy! Now I get to sit here and wait while the PS3 restores itself. I had no freezing issues pre patch. New PS3 Slim-er.

I played a second game since I posted this thread. Before that game, I rebuilt the database of my PS3. I did not see one stutter, and the Swing/Pitch Info appeared correctly.

It's interesting how myself and another user in this thread played one game post patch and had issues, but then they were no longer there from that point on.

The game does play better post patch, but with that said, I did experience one slow down / stutter. With the bases loaded, I hit a single up the middle and there was a brief slow down with the runners running the bases that was quite noticeable. Other than that, the game played just fine.

Still having some of the music stuttering but gameplay is smooth as a baby's bottom.

Try deleting the patch (Game Data Utility is where patches are saved to) and then re-downloading it.

I haven't notice any stuttering during the game or pitching, but I have notice it when navigating the menus. Made me think it could happen during the game too.

The pitching stutter is gone fore me, but I now get an occasional pause/stutter just before the next batter comes to bat. It's not a big deal though since it doesn't affect gameplay like the pitch stutter did.

I got that quite a bit on the first batter walkup of an inning pre-patch, and I still get it now. But like you said, it's minor compared to the pitch stutter which has completely disappeared for me (I'm confident in saying that now that I have several more games in the books).
