Can someone suggest to me how to remove the music stuttering? I mean it really just comes down to being an annoyance, but i'd like to be able to fix it.
Should I rebuild the database like I would had I had in-game stuttering?

I only saw the pitch stuttering a few times in the weeks i had the game but in 3 games i have played since the patch i get a lot during replays and cutscene's now.

speaking of cutscene's saw a new one (for me) where a ball just missed the pole and was foul but the batter ran like it was a HR and the umps had to review it. home crowd wasn't happy.

I didn't know they had already put out a patch so I haven't downloaded it yet but prepatch when I first started playing there was very little stuttering but the more games I played the more stuttering I saw and I was making 2 or 3 outs a game that were a direct result of the stuttering. And how you're telling me it's been made even worse with the patch?

No. That is not what most people are experiencing. For the vast majority of people the stutter during gameplay (while batting) seems to be almost entirely gone. There still is some stutter during cut-scenes and batter walkups for some people. No one can tell you for sure what will happen if you install the patch on your PS3, but the overwhelming odds are it will greatly reduce the stutter and may very well get rid of it entirely.

I haven't downloaded the new patch yet, but I was having a few brief stutters when the pitcher was releasing the ball, only when I was batting. I turned off my internet connection and it corrected the stuttering for me. This is an easy fix for me since I only play offline, I know it doesn't satisfy the onliners, but if you are playing a single player franchise or season, perhaps you should give this trick a whirl...

The on-pitch-release stutter is gone for me... it's likely that the kind of stutter people were talking about before the patch is of entirely different kind than what people are still experiencing... the game has always stuttered occasionally. Ideally they shouldn't happen, but with so much graphical detail it sometimes just happens...

Yes, the on pitch release stutter is gone for me too, but the walk up stutter is there, but I don't care, because it's not gamebreaking. My only problem is, that now I only have 1 week to get the sliders right before the OSFM roster is out. Maybe I will not be able to start the franchise as soon as the roster hits the vault, but I will have time until March, 2014 to finish my season

I've yet to have any pitch release stutter post-patch. Please let this be gone for good, at least for myself.

Small sample size of a few games with a CECH-3001A 160gm Slim. Although I couldn't get through even one game without seeing stutter so I have high hopes although I hold my breath on every pitch.

I had two stutter instances yesterday, I only had one instance pre patch. However its pretty rare for me to this point so not really a big deal to me.

BATTER stuttering is definitely worse post-patch!

Had one minor stutter while pitching tonight. But I got stuttering some last year too.

The menu music still skips a lot. Obviously not game-breaking, but it is annoying. I may have to just turn it off.

I didn't play much pre-patch but after playing a few games I am pretty disappointed with how much fps lag I can see in this game. I notice mostly when the ball is in play. Maybe it's my TV? I don't think it is... But when the ball is in play it just looks kind of choppy.

I think they added a little too much detail to the crowd as they seem to be sucking the FPS out of it. I don't experience the pitch stutter post-patch but am I the only one who notices that it doesn't feel as snappy as MLB 12 did?
