MLB 14 Wishlist: RTTS mode if you could have any feature, addition, tweak what would it be? Remember you can only choose two.

1. More options in the edit player screen for your player (unbuttoned jerseys, tighter jerseys, more hair options, beard options)

2. A lot more cut scenes of your player, especially for milestones (i joined the 40-40 club, and not one **** was given that day).

1. Let Catchers play in Result Play Mode. Calling every pitch makes it almost impossible to finish a career or even reach the Majors. Calling pitches in a save situation only could be an option. A save will get you a few points.

2. Commentary and broadcast type of presentation like in 11/12 should be an option.

Two things for RTTS

1. More off the field interactions. Sponsorship deals, special appearances, interviews, world tournaments to participate in, more varied training scenarios to actually play in (like maybe weightlifting, cardio, hand/eye coordination activities). I'd recommend taking a look at the NBA2k series and the Power Pro series for ideas of what can be done in a career mode.

2. Partially RTTS, but the cpu level movements need to take into account hot and cold streaks. A cold player on the MLB team (if they have waiver options) would be sent to the minors to bring up a hot player, even if their total overall and ratings were lower.

Preferred Teams:
List up to 3 teams or categories (i.e. NL, AL East, West Coast)

2. Adjustable Starting Attribute Levels - I enjoy the minors so I wouldn't use this feature, but I would love to have it just for the additional realism. Basically, you choose one of the following categories for how your player joined the MLB. Choosing an older entry method provides bonus attributes and a shorter stay in the minors.

High School Draftee (Age 17-19): Joins AA team on July 15. (Anticipates AA start in second year).

College Draftee (Age 20-22): Joins AA team on July 15 with bonus attribute points (enough to get a AAA start in second year).

Non-Roster Invitee (17+): Starts in spring training. Bonus attributes based on age (17-19 should anticipate AA start, 20-22 should anticipate AAA start, 23+ should anticipate MLB start).

International Amateur (Age 17-22): Three teams provide a contract offer, choose the one you like best. Bonus attributes based on age.

What would be really, really cool is if you could actually go through the system. Enter the draft post high-school, if you don't like the team that drafts you tell them no thanks. You age 3 years and get bonus attributes then enter the draft after your junior in college. Tell the team no again and you age 1 years, get bonus attributes and enter the draft post-college. There should also be the possibility that you go undrafted, in which case you will receive spring training invites from teams as a free agent.

Awesome idea.

2) Ability to go from closer to starter, but only at the discretion of your team. You should be able to put in the request/desire to get more innings in spring training and transition to the rotation.

Make this something that you can only request during the offseason, and if the team likes the idea because they need rotational help; value you more as a starter because you have some devastating stuff and there's someone right behind you who's capable of closing out games, or if you're already at the MLB level and the team can sign a closer to take over your duties while you go to the rotation, then you get your wish granted.

If guidelines aren't met, you obviously stay as the closer.

1. I never liked the fact that you can develop speed and arm strength in this mode. In real life, you can't do wind sprints everyday and suddenly turn into Rickey Henderson.

A better way to go about this would be your player has a certain amount of speed or arm strength to start with. These abilities would destabilize much quicker than the other abilities so you would have to use your points to maintain your speed rather than increase it. So if you want your player to focus on contact and power your speed will slowly decrease as your career progresses.

2. What about a fan interest bar? Rather than have it start at 0 and slowly increase with performance like the HOF bar it should start at a neutral position and increase/decrease depending how you perform in clutch situations and playoff games. You can have MVP like numbers during the regular season but if you don't perform in the clutch the fans turn on you. The lower the bar the fans boo you every at bat. The higher the bar they give you huge ovations.

1. I dont play this mode currently but I would if I got this one wish. I want to be able to play as an already created player. MLB, AAA, AA, or A whatever i don't want to create a brand new player. I can't get into this mode playing as a fictional version of myself I just find that wierd but I would love to be able to play as David Wright for a season!

1. Enhanced Player Creation Process: Create an archetype player and play through high school state tournament or college world series in order to determine draft position and attributes...similar to EA NCAA Football

2. Connected career where you can create RTTS players, retire them, or just take over any other player on any of the teams rosters and still keep the league history going.

1. No Trade Clauses (and other options in your contract). It doesn't have to be as a rookie or anything, but once you hit the big time top notch players generally have them. (I remember in one RTTS I signed a huge long term deal for the team I wanted to play for... only to be traded within the week).

2. The goals system once you make it to the majors needs to be adjusted. Superstars don't get sent down to the minors because they go on a cold streak

1- A "Game Face" feature similar to what exists in the Tiger Woods game. The current create a player mode is very good, but I can never quite get the likeness for my face or my son's. Being able to load front and profile photos into the game to get an authentic likeness into RTTS for our players would be incredible!

2- Continued improvement in audio immersion. While I agree with those who have asked you to include commentary as an option, I really have enjoyed hearing my fellow outfielders, base coaches etc. during the game. Even more of this sort of thing would be great. Sound is a powerful tool, and I love the direction you've taken this part of RTTS. It would be fun to hear your own player's voice grunting in disgust when you pop up...or saying "Yes!" when you beat out an infield hit etc.

I really love this game. Thanks for asking for our input.

1. More create-a-player options - Mostly a long hair option. This is becoming a very popular trend in baseball, time to let us have longer hair. Someone else had mentioned unbuttoned top-buttons/tighter jerseys. I think that would also be a welcomed addition which would fall into this category.

2. Milestone celebrations/commentary - As great as this game is, its a shame that when you surpass a milestone/break a record that the most you get is one line of commentary, if even that. Really add some depth here. If you player breaks the single season homerun record, mention that Roger Maris broke The Babe's record in 1961, it stood until 98 when McGwire and Sosa went on their historic run, and so on.

1. Have a 2K-type feature where you can talk to the GM and ask to trade for specific players.

2. I'm a heavy fan on endorsements, commercials, etc.

3. Add a feature where you can implement a real life picture of yourself and it will come up as a photo-realistic counter-piece in the game. I know EA has game-face, but I think that if SCEA made a feature like game-face they would 1-up it in any way.. And people would actually use it!

1. Allow players to turn off having to call/catch EVERY. SINGLE. PITCH. when playing RTTS as a catcher. I did enough of that in real life - I don't to be FORCED to do so in a video game.

2. Smarter/more realistic starting attributes. Players are not drafted with none of the 5 tools, as those tools are already developed to an extent. This would allow for more realistic progression and advancement.
