Re: MLB 14 Wishlist: RTTS
1. Improving the create a player screen. There are a lot of options already, but adding more is always good. Also, being able to see your player in your current team's uniform while choosing options. Always stinks to not know exactly what "Team Default, Team Color 1, and Team Color 2" is until you play a game. And lastly regarding player creation, some kind of tool to import your own face would be great. Probably using the Playstation Eye camera, or that new PS4 camera (whatever its called).
2. Something to do with you money. Maybe you can buy houses and/or vacation homes, or upgrade your equipment. Maybe you can hire an agent. The more money you make, the better agent you can hire, which will give your attributes a boost. The addition of agents could also mean free agency negotiations could be expanded.Comment

Re: MLB 14 Wishlist: RTTS
1. Dynamic Hot/Cold Zones!
I like how they adjust in game, but they are always reset back to your default when the next game starts. When you create a RTTS player you get no choice in where your hot/cold zones are...luck of the draw. My suggestion is.......
The zones should be adjusted after each game/week. They should start even or no color when you create a player. As you progress and stats start to accumulate, the zones should reflect and be adjusted your success/failure of the last pitch in each at bat. It could be simply based on your batting average on balls in play of K's from each zone.
Dark Blue - .000-.200
Light Blue - .200-.270
No Color/Even - .271-.300
Light Red - .300-.350
Dark Red - .350 - 1.000
You could even have 4 additional zone colors that are off the plate or above and below the actual strike zone. My player is a push hitter and I can still smack a pitch a few inches off the black away into the corner for a double every once in a while.
By making this change your zones would truly reflect the type of hitter each one of us are. Again, as a push hitter I mostly look for pitches out over the plate, I am not very successful on inside pitches based on my specific approach. I hate that my player is "cold" on the outside and "hot" on the inside, it doesn't reflect my player at all.Comment

Re: MLB 14 Wishlist: RTTS
1. (could be used in other modes) First person point of view camera. When batting, I'd like to be able to see the pitches from the perspective of the batter instead of catcher. This would make being a switch hitter a little more difficult. As a base runner and not being held on, I should not be able to see their fielder behind me.
2. Differentiate between skills (base running ability, hitting contact, durability, etc) and physical attributes (speed, arm strength, hitting power, etc). Training points should be grouped into the two categories. It should at least take longer (more points) to improve an attribute than a skill.Comment

Re: MLB 14 Wishlist: RTTS
1. You just played 20 years in the league? HOF? An option for after you retire, to become a manager and just start a new franchise.
2. Agents, and money meaning something.Comment

Re: MLB 14 Wishlist: RTTS
1. more on the field immersion: always keep the camera on the field behind your player except for broadcast camera cuts (no zooming out etc). camera can follow your player all the way to the dugout steps after an inning. follow your player out onto the field for defense. of course this means tons of new natural ambient animations will need to be added to keep things fresh and realistic and not stagnant. The view from the field is amazing with the show's graphics, but panning around it quite twitchy with the right stick. would be nice if looking around was a little slower and smoother and not so twitchy.
2. add option for on the field sound, or broadcast sound. many of us only play RTTS, and we want all the bells and whistles that the other modes get. please dont rob RTTS of the "little things", thats what keeps people playing their favorite modes for so long.Comment

Re: MLB 14 Wishlist: RTTS
1. Have money mean something. I personally like the idea that we can use money as a way to improve our skills. Kind of like NBA 2k13, where you can use your money to go to camps run by legends of the game to improve our game, or use it on things to improve team chemistry, etc. I think the money thing could be done well if we were given an agent, who could allow us to have more in-depth contract negotiations and no-move clauses and what not.
2. More on-field chatter. It would be great to hear your teammates, whether they are complimenting you or getting on your back. Make me feel like I am a the shortstop, rather than just playing the shortstop on the team.Favourite Teams:
EPL - Everton
MLB - New York Yankees
NHL - Montreal Canadiens
NBA - Toronto Raptors
NFL - Green Bay Packers
MLS - Toronto FC
Hate:
Any Team from BostonComment
