Re: Unrealistic stats continuing
I started it with 1.18, I waited til that patch and OSFM dropped before starting a pitcher. I added a few legends and CAP's to spice things up, but this is a league-wide explosion of hitting over pitching.Comment

Re: Unrealistic stats continuing
They are a little inflated but it could be a 1 in a 100 type thing. I am going to sim a SP to the year 2030ish I will post anything out of the ordinary if I find it.
Edit: I was just thinking maybe the MLB decided to legalize steroids? hahaLast edited by jseward92; 04-11-2013, 09:01 PM.Comment

Re: Unrealistic stats continuing
Alright I am to lazy to post pictures but the worst team ERA I found at the end of the 2035 season was the Nationals. They sat with a respectable 8.10 ERA lol yeah the numbers are inflated big time. Maybe hitters are able to progress faster than pitchers? in the later years.Last edited by jseward92; 04-11-2013, 10:16 PM.Comment

Re: Unrealistic stats continuing
You had a good year then, I've seen a 9 ERA halfway through this season. It pales in comparison to a RTTs I had pre-patch, getting 200 RBI's was a must if you wanted to end up in the top 25.Alright I am to lazy to post pictures but the worst team ERA I found at the end of the 2035 season was the Nationals. I am glad you have the guts to reveal these facts about the future sim engine, instead of hiding under Russell Ramone's desk and not saying a word like some people do.Comment

Re: Unrealistic stats continuing
LMAO don't you think this statement's a little strong? I think it was that someone finally simmed past the year 2020 in their RTTS mode and noticed the trend and decided to report it more than it has to do with having the "guts" to say something about it. Do you think Russell has a bunch of guys in the know that are keeping this a secret or something? come on...T.K.Comment

Re: Unrealistic stats continuing
Offense inflation as you go deeper into franchise/RTTS isn't actually a new issue... although it seems a bit more pronounced this year, the player progression in the game has always been kind of this way. Go back to an old RTTS file from previous years and you'll see the same trend actually... pitchers having high ERAs and many teams are filled with very good offensive players...
... people hadn't made much of this before, mostly because the vast majority of people don't play a single mode that deep.Comment

I've said for YEARS that RTTS stats are out of whack.Comment

Re: Unrealistic stats continuing
2032 Franchise stats. Default SCEA roster, after v1.18 patch. Not as crazy as RTTS, but hitting is dominating the leagues.
