Re: Unrealistic stats continuing
I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but I think the reason is because there aren't enough high potential pitchers in the draft. Vice versa, there are too many high potential hitters. I'm only 2016 and there are already drafted players at very high levels. I've yet to see any noteworthy drafted pitchers.Comment

Re: Unrealistic stats continuing
so franchise people might able to control this by editing player potentials of the draft picks. Here is where this gets complicated
what would be the right amount of A's per draft? Also someone said that there are a lack of quality pitchers, where is the balance that needs to be met to keep the results in future franchise years somewhat realistic.Comment

As far as I know, you cannot edit the potential.Comment

Yeah your right can't touch the potentials. You know got say that franchises overhaul was one of the exciting features for this years release, but there are several issues in franchise that really dont see that step forward here.Comment

I'm kind of scared going further into my franchise now, I may have to revert back to playing MLB 12

But its definitely affected. At least it is in the video from 2032. There's a few ways you can justify it though that I listed in a previous post. Or (this is what I'll do) you can just lower players overall contact and power attributes to lessen the "issue."Comment

Re: Unrealistic stats continuing
Training off in franchise does seem to control the level of progression and seems to be an acceptable fix. It will take a long time for players to get to that A level if they get there at all. I was getting season increases of about 4 points to the overalls of A players.Comment

Re: Unrealistic stats continuing
The question is if progression is slowed by shutting off training, will any A potentials ever reach that status? Is there a better way to keep the new stars coming into the league without it getting out of hand or having to edit numbers? Maybe auto training some but not others?Comment
