Not reading this whole thread so bare with me if this has already been discussed but here goes. I have recently resumed my MLB 13 franchise. One thing I noticed was in playoff games they don't have the foam tomahawks for the Braves crowds. Now I understand was probably because of the limitations of the PS3 system. But with them being able to make better crowds on the PS4 which they have made a big point of in one of the videos will they have the tomahawks for the Braves playoff games? That would be awesome to see since the Braves in real life always give out foam tomahawks for home playoff games.

I think it would be interesting if in quick games you could see stuff like your all-time records with each team and your stats with each player when playing quick games.

Team Morale:

It would be nice if they added some kind of team morale, meaning if you lose a key free agent, fire a popular coach, superstar gets injured, go on a big losing streak, team moral is effected. Maybe also if you had to answer some media questions once a month and based on your answers it also effects morale, things like that.

I guess it would be nice if the franchise was more dynamic. Right now I don;t feel like I am a part of a baseball league but that I am playing ina bubble.

There is a lack of news about the goings on in the rest of the league. I feel the show is spectacular gameplay wise, but the whole presentation, feel of being in MLB is stale and really lacking. I hope they can improve on this next gen.

I want more league events....interrupting my personal team screens and "chores"(for lack of a better word).
Anything that brings what happening in the league into my world.

totally agree man, it's the one thing I am really hoping they look at now. right now there is a dis-connect to my franchise and the rest of the league, feel isolated lol. If you know what I mean.

Yep.....
I feel like I'm playing one franchise...and the rest of the league is in another.
It's improved slightly with the new info screens(the cycling pages in menu) and of course the in game ticker...and the new info cycling on the ticker) ....but it could be improved upon immensely.

I will say that just knowing the process and knowing how much it takes to get this and other things in the game done...coupled with the PS4 version introduction....I wouldn't expect an overhaul for '14. JMHO.

for the create a player I want to see the different brands of gloves and wristbands, cleats, and gear out there such as Mizzuno, Nike, Under Armor, Adidas, Rawlings, Wilson, DeMarini, EVOSHIELD I think these would be great nand provide more personalization with rtts and you should be able to have endorsement deals with your player

i want to see them start moving away from overall ratings, and just keep the ratings for specific attributes without actually displaying an overall rating. Having two players side by side with one being better at contact hitting and other at let's say speed and for you to decide who should start.

Also, certain aspects of progression should be based on performance. Have a confidence rating or something similar so that when a guy tears it up during the season, his progression should reflect that.

I know this will probably be more for '15 but here goes anyway:

-when a player dives into a base and the ball goes into the outfield, I would like him to get up faster to take another base instead of standing up to pat the dirt off himself. If you slide then he will recover much quicker to take the next base but if you dive, he takes his sweet time.

-catchers just react to choppers in front of the plate way too quickly.

-outfielders are still getting a turbo boost of speed right before they run down a fly ball that's going to the gap.

-infielders getting in the way of baserunners. The first baseman is probably one of the most notorious for this.

-balls hit off the pitcher usually go straight to an infielder so you're thrown out.

-various replay angles or even different angles when a home run is hit.

-bat/ball boys and girls. Just seems to add to the realism of having someone run out there to resupply the umpire with baseballs.

I wish people would stop making threads everyday asking for news, info, and release dates. The no patience approach some people are taking on here is getting out of hand and making The Show forum quite annoying lately.

I would love if, as a GM of a team, I could be fired.

The most fun I ever had playing a franchise was on the old ESPN baseball games (2k3/2k4).

They also had little pop-ups throughout the season when the scout would discover a prospect, and you would have to bid on them. Sometimes they would sign with you, sometimes with another team. It was sick.

Mid game updates on trades, players getting injured would be cool too although not sure if even possible, probably not.

In the PS4 discussion thread, the idea of user-created DLC has been brought up. In the case of things like uniforms, logos, etc, would Sony be allowed to have that option in the game? Is that something prohibited by the style guide?

Agree, the ratings progression is really outdated in all sports games not just the show. What about players that were drafted late, and struggle to get into the league only to blossom later in their career (LIke jose bautista for instance), the current system doesn't seem to work properly imo for these late bloomers, or surprise players.
