    According to that list...
    LA $216 million
    SF $142 million
    Arizona $90 million
    Colorado $75 million
    SD $71 million

My comment about minor leagues being meaningless was in relation to real life minor leagues vs the random generated minor league rosters in the show. Asserting SD is easy to rebuild because they have a strong minor league system means nothing in this game because those players are replaced by random players in the game. I'm not complaining but that's a fact.
most people on here use OSFM though. Which makes a huge difference. I understand thats not the default roster but its what a lot use

I plan on making a full fictional roster with a team of all C, D and F potential players that are replacement level or below and rebuild an entire organization.

Yeah, I don't disagree with the payroll. Most teams I think are around $90-110 million these days.

The point about the minors have already been made by others. Even if you look at the roster there isn't much work to be done, the bullpen has decent arms all around at the very least, they're loaded with young starting pitching (most of aforementioned pitching prospects should already be in the game). Certainly all someone would need to do is improve 1B and the OF.

      But I could be wrong.

Im 30 years old (1984) following baseball since I was 4 hands down the worst organization talent wise has seemed to always be the San Diego Padres. Its a shame that city is glorious.

              Padres
              Brewers
              White Sox
              Phillies

If using OSFM then Cubs easy BUT if just using game rosters they hard to rebuild.

Cubs minors are loaded man. I don't think they will be tough at all. Acquire some pitching and you're in good shape there.

                      Re: Worst Team to Rebuild?

Astros, Cubs, and Padres are all super easy to rebuild if you know what you are doing. If you use rosters that have full minors, use the trade sheet in the trade discussion thread, and actually use your minor leaguers that are in your system then it takes no time to compete with these three teams.

If i want to rebuild i usually always go with the Phillies. The Phillies are an old team that doesn't have many bright spots, they do however have more bright spots then say the White Sox who have Sale and if you have up to date rosters some minor pieces here and there. So just to end my rambling here, the two hardest teams to rebuild just going off talent are the Phillies and White Sox. The Phillies do have budget room however when Howard, Utley, Lee are all off the books and have a decent core of young pitchers with Hamels. White Sox just have some minor pieces with Sale.

I'm going to go with the Astros or the Mets.

While the Mets do have a few pieces on either side of the coin(established players to deal for prospects....or prospects to deal for established players)...they have further to go on each side than what they have to offer(does this make sense?)...

That being said...I know Aaron, Luis and Darren(SCEA) have been working on all aspects of franchise mode logic.
I'm really anxious to see what they have in store this year. ...and give it a good test.

No offense to the people who work hard to produce it but I don't use OSFM because I believe the developers know what mix of minor league attributes create a balanced and realistic game in future years.
