Software development is not easy. As disappointing that it may be, it is much better than the game maker gets it right and does not release a buggy product. You only get one chance to make a good impression.

I understand that, but we are mid-february, what does that mean with regards to the games release date on PS4 if it is not even in a state to show a gameplay video yet?

This statement couldn't be more true. Most software, the emphasis is to release early and release often and especially in the open source world, bugs will be found and fixed by the community.

With games, the community lacks patience and buggy games can result in some seriously bad publicity and can lead to failure. Even if the game has lots of potential and should be a success.

Whatever SCEA decides to hold back and whatever they schedule is probably the best course of action for them as a company and ultimately for us as consumers.

The criticism they have received about their schedule is really unfair. They're track record should trump any concerns and criticism on this year's release direction.

Yea sorry, I wasn't necessarily saying that your comment was criticism, but the criticism they have received on these boards in general.

In reply to your comment, I would say that it could possibly mean a later release date if that is true...but it could also mean absolutely nothing. Thursday will be the day we find out for sure.

Maybe it is ready to be seen, but they are just rolling out some ps3 footage first, maybe it's just their schedule and we'll see some ps4 footage in the coming weeks.

Also, PSnation said he played the ps4 version i think, and he said it looks great, lighting and what not.

Don't really see anything to worry about here, but it does suck to not see any video of ps4 on Thursday, but hopefully we get some good info and pictures

While I'm disappointed in the lack of PS4 footage, we'll still get to see screenshots, which can be just as telling.

A week ago, we were begging for something, now we're upset at the lack of video footage? It will come eventually.
