Yes, you can cross-save between all three.

All those Franchise improvements we've been all wanting for years now after loyally supporting this game ... is going to cost an additional $50 (for PS plus membership) on top of the full game price ...

And if your internet is unstable (a reason I've never successfully been able to play this game online without immense lag, stuttering, and misc. framerate issues) you are simply SOL.

Want to play another baseball game where the offline franchise mode is getting full support? .. Too bad, an alternative doesn't exist!

The beauty and wonder of the modern day video game industry .. where the rich get richer, the publishers get more powerful, and the competition ceases to exist.

Enjoy that online pass that kills the resell value of your game, the microtransaction-slanted game modes, and core features/enhancements behind premium pay walls - woo hoo!

          I get your frustration......
But the rest of your post is just not correct in relation to the reason for this here.
I know they wanted all those improvements in both modes.

Today would be great. I would imagine we're going to get something this week for sure. Maybe two like last week if we're really lucky.

I'm looking forward to the revamped RTTS OR one talking about the new dynamic fielding.

I'm hoping to hear more about this dynamic fielding as well. It would be nice to see a little video of it too, instead of just reading about the changes.

Exactly, a video to SHOW how it's changed.

That, and the fact PS3 is still free online. And PS+ is much much more than a simple online pass.

Online and offline franchise are in two completely different programming languages. It's not confirmed whether or not they will be included in offline franchise at this point. You're being ridiculous.

And if your internet is unstable (a reason I've never successfully been able to play this game online without immense lag, stuttering, and misc. framerate issues) you are simply SOL.
You can play in an online franchise against all CPU opponents while having 30-team control as well.

Want to play another baseball game where the offline franchise mode is getting full support? .. Too bad, an alternative doesn't exist!

Competition doesn't exist because there isn't a market. Welcome to capitalism.

Enjoy that online pass that kills the resell value of your game, the microtransaction-slanted game modes, and core features/enhancements behind premium pay walls - woo hoo!
PS4/Xbox1 games don't have an online pass. PS+ isn't a "premium pay wall". You want to play on and use online servers? Now you have to pay for them.

I believe Ramone already confirmed the Online features won't make it to offline this year. Ran out of time.

•Online Franchise (PS3 & PS4) - Finally, Franchise mode can be shared with friends online, with most of the features from the offline version making the transition, including Scouting, the Amateur Draft, Free Agency and CPU Trades. The mode will remain highly customizable as scheduling, divisions, postseason spots and more are all commissioner options.
