When I first started playing a couple nights ago, QC was available because I used it. Last night it was nowhere to be found. I don't know what is going on, lol.

Where would the option to turn on/off quick counts be?

I never turned the option on, but I played my first ranked online match, and QC was on for that game(I'm guessing maybe it's default for that mode..), but now it is still on when I go to play exhibition games or show live games against the CPU.

I can't find where turn this option off anywhere...

No offense to those of you that dig QC, but there is no way I could play with this option. It feels like the opposite of baseball to me. Kind of the way most of us feel about simulating games during a season or franchise... Ya know, that feeling of the stats being tainted. I feel like that every single AB during a game using QC.

I'm glad it's in there, because it seems like quite a few people absolutely love it, but I gotta get this **** back to default! Working the count from 0-0 is one of the biggest parts of the game... How do you feel satisfaction drawing a walk if the count started out 3-2... It's baseball blasphemy!!

Anyways, I'm kidding, kind of.. To each his own, but someone please help me turn this off.


EDIT: Nevermind. I restarted the game and QCs went away. Although, I still can't find the option. Is it supposed to be in user settings somewhere? So far, I've only seen it in exhibition mode right after you select a ballpark.

Thanks for the feedback Knight, but it doesn't Appear at all, maybe it is because I rented from the redbox? I installed the last update and the 10 gb version btw, here is a screen from select menu... NEVERMIND.. now it appears, i dont know what i did, play a new game and there it was, thank you Knight

I think this is the right place to ask this. If not, sorry

During the gameplay, does the game still skip or stutter?The last Show I played was 12 and that had annoying stuttering at almost every other at bat and sometimes at the worst possible time like before the pitch reaches the plate. Has that been fixed for 14?

And Chris Davis...Adam Jones...Scott Feldman does not have a full beard yet he should smh

IDK if he's got one now...but he did have one for a while and they were making a bid deal about it.
His "images" section on Google even has it's own "BEARD" section.

What's the L1 for? Just select your runner and push the button that corresponds to the base you want him to run to. The L1 isn't needed.

I meant L stick and then base button . I found it very difficult to remember this process trying to get a runner home from 2nd on a base hit for example. Is there an easier assisted base running option in 14 ? Why can't I just hit X to send a runner home ? Base running should be simple,not confusing....thanx again !

Indeed, I was the first to ask about QC on The Show Live and if I remember well it was you that you replied to me that it was there. This makes sense now because I was not able to find such option anywhere. It seems that QC on The Show Live is a SCEA server side option. Let's hope for a fix soon.

Ok I put this in the bug thread but figured I put it in here as someone might be having the same problem.

I broke down and got the digital copy of the show, downloaded gm (after a 3hr wait) went to install the game and kept getting this message; corrupt file 80010038. Deleted gm and tried again same thing happened. Did all the trouble shooting and nothing. I've seen people post error messages but haven't seen that number associated with it

If anyone knows any solutions let me know this is frustrating. Thank you.

I haven't tried this but can you turn on quick counts when watching CPU vs CPU games? That would be something I could see doing in say the playoffs just for the hell of it but I wouldnt want to watch a full game. Id use it in that scenario more than user vs cpu actually.

You need to download again the whole thing. I doubt a restore will help you.

You are right. So far there are only a few small things that I don't like. I am extremely happy with this game out of the box and with patch one. Once the roster update comes out and the auto stealing bug gets addressed I will be happy as a clam lol

I'm getting a little stuttering, thankfully only when I'm at-bat, and only after I hit the ball. Not hard to deal with, just annoying.
