Did they take out the in-game batting order screen? Don't see it in the quick or in-game menus.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q&A with the Community
Is it possible that Sony actually removed the "HR Camera" feature from MLB 14 The Show because of the new Dynamic batting camera? So perhaps the reason you don't see an option to turn it off is because there is no HR Camera any longer? So maybe now if you want to see the batters signature HR celebration you have to use the new Dynamic batting camera?
the hr cam is still there.
they got rid of the broadcast style hr pan/follow.
i hit two and had another no doubter hit against me, and i got the stupid 'bigs style' shtot behind the catcher.
so lame looking.
would love to hear from sony on this oneLast edited by econoodle; 04-08-2014, 02:07 AM.Comment

i have the game till thursday till my friend gets back from Atlantic City, so this is my rental try out period. doesnt look i am getting it either. I had planned to as i like a lot of the changes, but this kills it, as a presentation lover.

I'm not a computer programmer, but since this option has been there before, it really shouldn't be a 'hard' fix.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q&A with the Community
This is quoted directly from Ramone Russell in the online franchise blog.
"We see there have been lots of questions regarding what is and isn’t included in the offline portion of Franchise mode. While the majority of what’s posted in the blog is exclusive to online Franchise, we were able to make a good amount of improvements to the offline portion as well.
Those improvements are as follows:- Hire and fire coaches at any point in the season
- Editable Player Potentials
- CPU draft logic improvements to have them draft mainly based on the Scouted Potential
- Simulator stat improvements to address stats ballooning in subsequent years
- Refined player generation logic
- Improved player Overall formula to help separate truly elite players from the pack
- Player regression has been improved to slow down the amount older players will decline
- Player salary logic improvements to keep them more in line with real-life (minor league players will garner salaries more reflective of the minors)
- Budget logic changes to provide better year-to-year adjustments based on performance
- NEW Player Search screen with the ability to initiate a trade from the search results
- NEW Player Lock feature availability
- NEW Notification system to keep you better informed with events around the league, and within your organization"

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q&A with the Community
No improve trade logic. I won't be buying the game.. This has been an issue for years now and they have been too lazy to fix it. I can't even enjoy rtts because every team's top prospect is playing for another team 4 months into season 1. Just give us the option of turning off trades during rtts!! What is so difficult about this?!! Every team is unrecognizable year in year 2 into rtts. Awful.
I've learned to not care and just let it go-go.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q&A with the Community
When pitching against someone else in a 2v2 exhibition game, the ball drop appears for the other player to see. Kind of like it would appear when pitching against the computer. The other player can see when i through a curve ball or slider because they see the curve and ball drop markers. How do i turn this off?Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q&A with the Community
I'm a huge baseball fan and a current xbox 360 owner. In the past I have been a 2k user because it was the only thing available. Now that 2k is done and I didn't bother with 2k13, I will probably buy a Playstation this summer. Here is where I am torn. I am a big classic guy, mainly early-mid 2000s. Something that I have loved about the show was the fact that they have the classic stadiums. Honestly, this is a make or break thing for me, as to whether I buy a PS4 and go for MLB 14 the show, or buy a used PS3 (easier on the wallet) and buy MLB 13 the show or 14 the show (13 because I have more players that were around in the era I am aiming for). I would buy PS4 just so I could have the next gen old Yankee Stadium and I would recreate the old players. I have seen mixed opinions, hearing that 14 would have them for PS3 but not for PS4. I have also heard that PS4 would have the same things that PS3 has. Can someone give me a definitive answer on this.Originally posted by Ken Griffey JrMe, I'm the little guy in the group.
