Which control method are you guys using?

I'm still undecided.

For Pitching in the Ps3 I liked Pulse, but I suck in the Vita, it's like if there was some delay, I push when the circle is the smallest possible but it's like the button press registered a split second later.

I tried analog but the sticks int he Vita are not precise enough.

I have switched to Classic, but find it a bit less funny as it's just about selecting pitch and location.

For batting the same, analog is hard with the small stick, so I had to switch to just timing.

I use meter for pitching, timing for batting and auto-fielding.

I thought it was West Coast games, but it's every game in Franchise that's scheduled as a night game. No matter what the time the game is on the schedule, the sunlight shines like the game is being play at noon. Lights are never on. This needs to be fixed. Basically there are no night games in Franchise on the Vita version right now.

Figured out what this was, I think. Some of those first games I brought up on the Vita I was testing some sliders. Therefore, I wasn't choosing a side before the game started. They were starting as cpu vs. cpu. Strangely enough, when you do this all games are played as day games. If you choose a side before you start(like I'm sure 99.9% of people do), the game plays under expected lighting considering the start time. A weird one, but it appears it was much ado about nothing.

Batting: Timing
Pitching: Classic
Fielding: Assist (used Auto the past 2 years and will probably do so in 14 down the road)

Anyone encounter this type of bug yet?

Was doing my RTTS and hit a liner past first base and RF warped like crazy. Sorry for the bad quality/Cinderella in the background. Little one loves her some Cinderella.

I finally got my Vita in the mail today as I had the game 2 days ago and was chomping at the bit to play some baseball especially watching the games on TV with the start of the actual season.

Anyway my early impressions are this is a great game, I have played 3 games in play now mode as I am waiting to see what kind of RTTS player I will be making and looking for some good sliders and updated rosters before starting franchise. The quick pitch mode had me skeptical at first but it seems to be really well integrated and dosn't make the game seem more arcadish like some other games have in the past with this feature, although I have had a high pitch counts early in games so will be watching that to see if it works itself out.

The graphics are what you would expect from the Vita not super great but really good for a handheld. I havent noticed any of the bugs or glitches that some of you guys have pointed out so far but im sure they will pop up (or not). Overall I am again in love with the show and best of all I won't have to have 2 different seasons when I travel and at home due to cross saves with the PS4.

I'm completing games and I can't save. I think its because I paused the game and came back later to finish the game. This is getting ridiculous. I spend an hour to play a game, I finish the fame, and I can't save. All I see is the spinning ball on the bottom right. Fix this bug before anything else, or Franchise mode is totally broken.

Am I missing something? Is there no way to change the pitching camera away from behind the pitcher in Road To The Show mode? Changing the Pitching View in Gameplay Options does nothing, while the Camera section of the Options menu while in a game is disabled. I don't have this kind of problem on the PS3 version.

Edit: Argh, there's a separate camera option in the RTTS Options. That one works.

Does franchise have all the features of the console versions? I haven't played since the 2012 versions of the game?

I kept wondering why my pitch counts were so high with quick counts. So the first batter of the game comes up with a 3-2 count an I strike him out in one pitch and check the pitches thrown and see its at 8 pitches with 4 balls and 4 strikes. What the hell is that all about?

Sure counts in my book. Way to go, Knight! I threw a one-hitter with Jordan Lyles last night. Only hit surrendered was a solo HR, but it was in the 2nd inning, so I wasn't envisioning a potential no-hitter at the time.

That line reminded me of the AJ Burnett no-no against the Pads in 01... He gave up 9 walks to 7 K's.

Of course, I witnessed that no hitter along with Bud Smith's in person that year... Not a year to remember as a Pads fan...

There could have been a few foul balls in that generated 3-2 count. Ooops just saw that you said 4 balls. Must be a bug.
